I don't see the point of your calculations and lobbying:) It seems to me that you want to let people know that lvl7 trainers are not worth anything. What is the point of this? Lowering LVL7 trainer signing fees?, that you could actually some day afford them?
Take it as it is. As long as there is demand -> the price is right. If someone thinks lvl7 is worth 7mil for them, that's the price atm. You can not say that lvl7 is worse @ training than lvl6 or lvl5, now can you? People always want the best (the best is not necessarily the smartest choise), some are willing to pay more for that, than it actually makes sence. Is it wrong? Not for him.
You know you actually want a lvl7 trainer, but you are a little frustrated about the fact, that you would not get your moneys worth.

Personally I do not really care - prices would have to come down by a serious margin to make me interested in a level 7 and I know that's not going to happen. I am just responding to someone complaining that a level 7 trainer costs him 65k a week. I am trying to show that it is a bargain, that's all.

I am not really complaining, just saying I do not understand why low division teams want to shell out the money. But you are right, it is their decision. I just don't want to hear them complain about it after. ;-)

Too funny.

By the way, in case anyone missed it I was trying to mess with BB-Edju. In retrospect, my comment was not funny. In fact, I'm not really a funny guy so next time I'll just let it go.

Well, like I said, even if it was exactly like real life you would still not get what you want. Level 7 trainers are supposed to be really, really expensive (both in terms of the bonus and in terms of their salary), that is the whole point.

Is an extra pop per season (over a level 5 trainer) really worth that much money? And seriously, if you are not a division I team, why would you even bother?

I can answer this, from personal experience. It's because every piece of information about training (such as (78242.1)) was about what a level 9/10 (in the old ranking system) trainer could do. It creates the expectation that that level of trainer is normal. I thought so too; I spent a long time trying to buy an elite trainer, before I realized I couldn't afford one, and before I read further and realized it wasn't worth the extra cost for a team of my level.
