I think everyones forgetting he only has $780k at his disposal... I can't imagine you will even be able to buy 1 capable player if you come across a Division 3 or better team...

Enjoy the scrimmages and use the opportunity to train difficult skills like PA for one of your big men. (just an example)

excellent example, where CT'ing in the cup is really useful :) Go a bit kamikaze in the cup(not with transfer i doubt to that this strategy works at this point as many other here).

Thanks for all the advice, I went with a bit of a compromise. I needed a new SG so I bought one for $525,000 who's transfer price estimate says he's worth 750,000 to 1,800,000. I put him up for auction at 1,300,000 because if anyone actually buys him for that I'll be happy, and if not I'll keep him as my starting SG and sell the other one before Monday :)
