I doubt you will find any centers with triple marvelous inside skills in Div. IV Australia, so no need to worry about that. What's more, I'm not so sure that well rounded players get smashed by specialist players. There are players in my division with 20 JS who routinely get schooled by my well-rounded players.

Nope there aren't any triple marvelous inside players in Div 4 but I was just giving that as an example.

What I was refering to are rounded specialist players (e.g a C that has 10 ID, 10 IS, 10 RB) not one dimensional specialist players (e.g a C with 20 IS, 5 ID and 5 REB).

A well rounded specialist player is much better than a all skills rounded SF trying to play C.

wow first game down, i lost obviously i dont expect these guys to win much for a while
but the rebounding numbers were nuts
the two i was training at C and PF got a combined ~50 rebounds
and my shooting guard got ten

out rebounded the opposing team by 20 rebounds but neither team shot well but yikes lol

Well, just to see if your thesis was true, I played my allskills well-rounded backup SF at C and my allskills well-rounded starting SF at PF last night. Here's what happened:
Center
My guy 41k salary
C J. Castañé 43 8 - 14 2 - 3 2 - 2 4 18 4 1 2 0 0 20 10.5
His guy 60k salary
C G. Dukats 33 0 - 1 0 - 0 0 - 0 2 18 1 3 0 0 6 0 10.5

Power forward
My guy 59k salary
PF J. Toquchar 41 5 - 15 2 - 5 3 - 4 0 9 2 0 2 1 0 15 10.5
His guy 84k salary
PF L. Daowen 41 6 - 15 3 - 4 3 - 4 2 17 4 3 0 0 5 18 10.0

Here is the game:
(26716858)

Take from it what you will. To me there is no question that both of my players are far better players than his two and I would expect them to hold their own out of position thanks to their complete games. In the Center's case, he not only held his own but completely outplayed his opponent.

interesting results there, although the stats seem dominated by the opposing teams more traditional player
your player outperformed them in value?
maybe kind of the old warriors style is what im going for, screw matching up with them, make them match up with me
sure their center will our rebound me, but can he out rebound my entire team of better then average rebounders?
can he guard my 6'2 player playing out of position on the perimeter?
all kinds of theories here will be tested, what u did is intriguing though, i fear one game is too small of a sample size and so much can factor into this but its great motivation to try

ok i think ive figured out how im going to show my progress
ive decided to split this into three team rotation of five players

team a will be my best lineup used for the harder game of the weak
team b will be my second best lineup used for the easier league game of the week
and team c will be my players that are lagging behind and getting their training from scrimmage minutes

i figured out a way to weight the values of the skillsets of the players involved, at least its what i plan on using
and this will dictate my teams week by week they can slide from one lineup to another as skils increase

i weight their skills like so..... since these are short players i take their big man skills overall value say quad pitiful (i have none this bad lol) and weight that twice since those will be harder to obtain the pops in
so say mr quad pitiful has level 2 at each skill, times four big man skills rb is id sb that would give him an added weight of 8 that i add to the total of his entire skills, so say he has 50 total sum of other skills i assign this player a value of 58 to show that he is further along in big man skills and more valuable to this team since its hard to get pops on a lil guy at the skills

once i get everyones big man skiils to at least proficient i will then move on to guard skills untill caps are reached

ok so i will create a google spreadsheet document and share the link as i start getting data
next week will be the first full week for this experiment

so the lineup breakdown will go as follows as a descending value of my sum of skills plus double weight to big man skills sorting method
if a player is injured he will be moved to scrim squad and the best player from scrim squad will move to team b and best player from team b will move to team a etc etc, every week i will resort and set the squads for that week before the first game of the week takes place
i will be training 2 position training using a lineup of only 5 players (dont want blow out substitutions to screw up training) also this will help me manage gameshape pretty easily since each squad will only play on 48 min game a week, if they foul out no big deal i can live with that lol

team a
player a
player b
player c
player d (will receive training)
player e (will receive training)

team b
player f
player g
player h
player i (will receive training)
player j (will receive training)

scrim team
player k
player l
player m
player n (will receive training)
player o (will receive training)

i hope this makes sense lol
the google doc when ready should make it much easier to follow

Sounds very interesting to follow. But just one more question. I know you listened to the comments in here and applied them. One of those seems to be: switchng from team-training to 2-position training. While this could be a good thing, I'm not sure if it works the way you will do it.

The way I understand it is that you will rotate your players. So 6 players train this week en next week 6 others might train. So training 15 players in 1 x 2p training takes on average 2.5 weeks. The question is:

Is 2p training x 1 week > teamtraining x 2.5 week

If not, then teamtraining might be the way to go for you still. 2p training is usually good if you only train 6 players. If you train 15 players and rotate it might not be faster.
