It drives me nuts too. Also what drives me nuts is losing games which I could have won, but I lost because I either underestimated the opponent or chose wrong tactics. But then that's how we learn, isn't it? :P

200 players...but you're right, absolutely nothing :S

Loosing which I should have won (Ex: Pakistan) is something that makes me sick. But we do learn a lot from defeat!

Anyways, do you guys BB-mail Indian newbies?

I count 13 active managers (out of 64) in Div. II, meaning people who have logged in in March.
There are many more in Div. III, of course, and I sent a mail to a random guy.
How does one see all the Div III teams?

Hello,

You need to check each league one by one if you want to see all "III. teams"... =S

Did the random guy answered to your BB-mail?

I sure missed the jump in the numbers of active managers, last I checked we had like 50+ managers.. This is surely a great news and hope atleast half of them stick around :D

I really wish that new managers stick to the game for a long time. More competitions there are the better. it will make the game more interesting, we can learn a lot more stuff by competing and India will be a stronger country!

The game is bewildering at first. In Australia we have a semi-formalised mentoring system for new teams that are interested. The only trouble is that it does require a good deal of manpower to run. There is one trick that will help in tracking new teams a lot. BB always will start from divsiion II.1 and fill that one with new players, once full it will start filling II.2, once it is full II.3, after 6 (or 7) weeks some of those new teams from II.1 will have gone bot so it is fairly easy to keep track of where the new teams will be created. I am fairly sure they also always fill be Big8 before the Great8 as well and I also theorise that they fill down in ladder order but I am far from sure on that one. So if division II.3 was the one currently being filled you could just watch that one league and every few days send a message to the new teams ofering help.

The bad news is India is down to 112 after the players recruited by the big promotion left.

Aha, thanks for the info. It'll help me see the new managers.
During the time of the promotion when there was a significant increase in the number of managers, I've sent email to many of the newbies telling them to ask me for a help if they're stuck etc and gave some advice. However, NONE of them replied...and all went to bot :S So in case of India, this promotion was a fail...not sure how other countries were though.
In a few weeks time, I think the number of active managers will drop to around 60-70. that's the number of active managers we've had before the promotion.
