the levels aren't that big of a difference. You might get 1 pop or so extra a season.

Well, 1-2 pops a season, across 6 seasons of training, ends up being ~9 pops overall. That puts him about a season ahead, which is a pretty big deal for hall of fame potential. You can easily use a level 4 or 5 if you're training perennial allstar or superstar, as you can just train them for a little while longer to make up the difference. But when this guy would get to that level, he would be too old to train well.

You also have to take his age into it, as he get older training slows down, so if he get's 1 extra pop when he is 18, he might only get 1/2 pop at 23 or so.

I was just trying to point out that it only 1-2 pop's, just in case he is expecting 5+ pop's a season and he will be disappointed when that does not happen.

i just got a trainer that is "exceptional"

so because i now have a trainer that is quite high, does this mean his skills will advance very quickly?

I'm little worried. You only joined recently and your arena attendence isn't all that great. I'm just wondering about your exceptional trainer's salary. Tell us what his weekly salary is.

gday

im still learning the ropes of the game so probably gonna make some mistakes along the way

just thought that because i acquired a top notch player in the draft he deserves a top notch trainer

but if you saying a level 4 or 5 trainer will be enough then yeah i should probably do that

save around $40,000 a week so i guess that will make a big difference in the long run!

Get a level 4 for now, once you're in III you can re-evaluate what you can afford.
