If this is accurate than superior trainers are much too expensive
and seemingly not worth the upgrade from level 4

Totally agree (after I didn´t want to believe that for a long time).

But don´t make it too public or the prices for lvl 4 coaches will get a lot higher... ;)

Although my math might not be right (hey, I study history), there is about 10% difference between lvl 4 and 7.

That said, a player gets 10% better each season passes by? That's a big difference :)

For people who are interested in the effects of different trainer levels on training speed, I'd encourage them to sign up for the training analysis project as described here: (203921.1).

So far there's already excellent information about different training types and their speeds, height effects, and age effects. One thing that isn't yet clear from the data is exactly the effect of trainer levels, but, with more people submitting data, the sooner we can make firm conclusions.

If people would pass that link along in their country specific forums, that would be great too.

Yes..Big difference
but is the 10% better each player worth
the money it will cost to get that training
if you train those players for 3 seasons with a 7 instead of 4
it will cost you an extra $5-6 million based on cost and salary
what can you BUY with that?

Oh, yes big difference. Even a level 5 can make a big difference over a level 4 in the long run. Coach parrot calculates a player of mine to reach his training goal (of a 79 week regime) 5 weeks faster...that's more than a month saved. Imagine a level 7 and how much it would save. I think this is very useful for those who want to build a strong NT player, and to make it sweeter, a home drafted one :D One of my countrymen has a world renowned trainer and his trainees have recently been the best players in our U21, which will indirectly help our NT plans one day.

Eh, come on! Level 7 trainers help players grow a beard too which make them cooler.
