Crap player exists also on NBA draft.

And how do those earn their payroll other than going to Europe or playing in a D-league? Even some NBA first rounders never get a NBA contract ...
Not true (again).
The first round draft has secured contract at their first few seasons (3 I think at their three seasons).
They are NOT going to europe.

At the last seasons, or one before that there was a big man, that had been selected at the first 5 picks on the NBA.
He wasn't what they had thought he would be, but they paid for him because of that rule, and sent him after some time to the...D-League.

Complete nonsense. If you don´t sign your first round draftee, you don´t sign him. Period.

He can play in Europe then, in lower leagues, whereever he grabs a contract.

Not true.

A player who decides to play in europe can do that. The rules are NBA teams rule.
He is not obligated, BUT all of the teams are.
So, if he decides playing in the NBA, then the team who selected him must pay him his contract.
Even the salary that they will pay him (a first round drafted players) is define by the rules.

Reality is not in your favour this time.

Stop comparing a browser based basketball manager game with the NBA.
Stop.

As foolish as this suggestion is, if it was included in Buzzerbeaters, then the ability to trade draft picks would have to be included as well.

I'm not doing that - this game is ABOUT THAT.

If you want to play / make a BB-manager game, it should be just about that.

If you are about being a big hot-shot trader that can get online whenever you want, there are other games that focus exactly on that.

This game is about BB, and should focus on that.
The NBA is the best place to learn what should be on this game.

Not a must, but can be added.

It is not a must, because a trafding concept a player is completely parallel to this suggestion.

Pini, you´re missing a big point. Drafting an NBA player does not equal signing him. If you hold his draft rights, you don´t have to pay him sh**. Only if you SIGN him you owe him money. So your whole point is moot.

We do not only DRAFT players here in BB, we also SIGN them. Since we cannot reject them or hold them out, the whole proposal is based on a whole different system than in the NBA, so your nice "reality check" fails badly.

I'll repeat what already written.

1) For the first round picks the option is for the players ONLY.
The players can decide not to join that team, and go to europe or whatever (but not the NBA), but the teams has no option.
If that player decides to play in the NBA, they will need to pay him.

We do not only DRAFT players here in BB, we also SIGN them. Since we cannot reject them or hold them out, the whole proposal is based on a whole different system than in the NBA, so your nice "reality check" fails badly.

2) Here you can DRAFT and SIGN, but currently you can also just FIRE (or sell).
So that claim was also wrong and false.

In the NBA you can choose not to use your pick. You can't here. If I choose not to pick anyone I can't pay salarys aswell, right?
In the NBA, players have contract lenghts, we don't have them here, because it would be more complicated to evaluate players if they could be negotiated with and would make the game really too complex. You can't waive a player without paying his salary until his contract ends (so practically no way of getting rid of that contract, unless some other team is willing to pay it). So here you see, that not everything that works in RL can be used in an online game. It just does not suit the gaming enviroment. The sooner you get it the better.
You should really stop posting the same things over and over, your statements have no merit.
