However this brings to attention the fact, that i'd would be nice if BB admins would start 3rd party tool certification program. Then users could be sure, that they are downloading at least non-harmful program. The other thing is that 3rd party tool developers play an important role in making BB a more fun, accessible and popular game.

true i thought about that one to, at least a few people(admins,gm,bb`s) should check the progs before they come to the users, could be a big mess if someone takes it not to serious...

Assuming you're using Hattrick as your model of what a "certification program" might look like, it did nothing to make users "sure that they are downloading at least non-harmful program". They could track the offending user and kill their account, and take the software off their list of approved apps, but they did no type of testing beforehand to make sure approved apps were not being antisocial.

What they did (and do) do is ask developers to submit the list of features their app would support, and then approve or disapprove those features many months or even years after the request was submitted. Once approval for development was given, the developer would then complete their app, tell the admins, and the app would then be listed.

I'm not sure BB should aspire to that model.

Team Hijack.

That´s the right reason why I wait until any CBBP will occur. But before it happens, I just have to use my skills. I don´t want to take the risk.

i can put in the xml with the current roster after renaming it, but only one if i put in some older renamed xml files they wont show up in the development boxes.

just copy your old xml-files to the DATAFILES folder and rename them. the name has to be roster-xxxx-xx-xx.xml where xxxx-xx-xx is the date when you downloaded the xml file
