I can't wait for Tuesday. I'll be working during the game, so won't be in chat. Good Luck Dmytro. First time this season I'm actually kinda scared, but I still think I'm going to take the win.

Yeah, should be a good game. He has stronger bigs, you have slightly better outside scoring. I think you are the underdog for sure BT, but with the right tactics you have a pretty good chance. Might want to Crunch Time.

I'm curious about what the right tactics are. I don't pay much attention to my teams stats so I don't know. I just hope to log on often enough to make sure my training minutes happen.

Well, dont want to give away all my secrets, but looks as if you tend to run Push the Ball, which is a faster paced version of Base Offense. All things considered, this is a Balanced Offensive tactic. The most successful defense to counter a balanced offense would be Man to Man, but depending on match ups, opponents may be more successful running a 2-3 zone or a 3-2 or 1-3-1 zone if the small forward is more inside orientated or outside orientated like a guard, or if your bigs are much stonger then your guards or vice versa. Your team is harder to judge, as your starting SF, Job, seems to be pretty well balanced when it comes to inside and outside skills, aswell, looks to be more of a perimeter defensive skilled player. Your bigs however do seem to carry your team, for the most part, and I think had BT run an inside defense and tried to shut down your PF and C, it would have left most of the scoring load on your SG, which his outside defense should have been able to control and could have been a closer game. Running an inside zone against you, BT's bigs would have got more rebounds both offensive and defensive, and slowed the tempo of the game down and got more possessions.

I'm not sure what tactics I'll run against you, but I think it all hinges on shutting/slowing down Vester and Hengjie as they are arguably the strongest front court in the division.

Interesting. That's my default offense, but what you say makes sense. I often forget to log on in time to decide on a tactic so I just leave it as balanced as possible. One thing to consider - I've been playing my SFs at PG most of the season because they are training. Job will probably play SG come playoff time, but I'm not sure.

I build my teams on defense first and then try to develop scoring later. I run push the ball as my default because more possessions favors the better team (as you know but we'll call it my pro-tip of the day anyways for anyone reading who didn't) and because I don't care what offense I run since I win most games on defense.

I should point out that given his dependence on outside scoring and given the ratings I can put up on outside defense I think he is going to have a hard time beating me regardless of tactics.

On another note - did anyone else have trouble logging in today? I tried to get on at about 4:00 to set my lineup and I got a"server busy" error until after 5:15. Sucks because I really did not want to play "normal" today. I need to change that default.

People go easy on me. My team improves big time every season. Their will be a day when i will beat calgary stiflers and screnity now ( never gonna happen ). If any one is looking to buy a small forward then this could be your guy. Ali Riza Ecrivan SF with sensational jump shot. http://www.buzzerbeater.com/player/14663652/overview.aspx

You are improving, and I think your game against Serenity Now showed that. You held him to well below what he normally scores, just needed a little more to push you over the edge. I think you've shown most of your improvement is with your gameshape and enthusiasm management this season, as your roster has remained pretty much the same for the last few seasons. If you can pick up a few more multiskilled players, and few good big guys, you should promote pretty soon.
