The preseason doesn't mean much except how good your bench may be in my opinion. And the Lakers will dominate this season regardless of their age.

The Nuggets are a much better team than the spurs this season, especially since the Spurs have weak bigmen (Excluding Duncan ofcourse) They cannot compete with LAL, MEM, DEN, MIN, LAC and many other teams. Plus they are old too. the only way that they will get a 3rd seed or higher is if the referees are cheating for them for most of their games. Denver has an Allstar worthy PG and SG in Lawson and Igoudala, an amazing bench and four 7 footers on their team for big men. I would not be surprised at all to see Denver have a better record tan SAS.

Memphis beat LAC last year.... they were the 4th seed and LAC was the 5th seed... I don't see why it wouldn't happen again this year. Memphis will finally have Randolph healthy so they will have their bigmen back to beasting and LAC has gotten worse this year due to Billups coming off injury and Mo Williams leaving. Speaking of Mo Williams, he is now on the Jazz who have a good team this year and are very explosive. I'm not sure if they will beat out LAC for the 6th seed but i think that they will be just about as productive as them.

As for Golden State, They are my Wildcard. I couldn't find another team that i felt would definitely make the playoffs and since GS actually has a quality center this year in Andrew Bogut i look for them to do good things. We'll have to see how it goes.

Who would you put at #2 then? After looking at all the teams Atlanta has one of the best starting lineups in the East. With the addition of Lou Williams they will be just as good even though Joe Johnson is gone and the only reason the Hawks finished in the 4-5 seed area is because Horford was out for most of the season. I think they can easily get the 2nd or 3rd seed.

I agree with you on the knicks about them not being too overpowering but i think that they have a lot more depth than last year and if Melo and Amare can stay healthy they could possibly beat out the Bulls for the third seed.

I do not see Boston being higher than a 4th seed and they will be lucky if they can even get the 5th seed in my opinion due to the 76s Pacers and Bucks. I doubt any of those 4 teams will be a 4th seed or higher unless the Bulls decide to really suck it up but you can feel free to disagree.

Yeah,Hawks are going to have one of the best if not the best Frontcourt, they are stacked at PG and SG,they only need to upgrade at SF.

I agree with everything except for the bucks part,I would have the Cavs,Pistons and Wizards over them.

Umm,don't know what playoffs those were but in the NBA it was LAC that beat the Grizzlies.

I was referring to the standings not the actual playoffs since that is what he was arguing about. Memphis sucked in the playoffs against the Clippers but beat them in the regular season according the the standings and the seeding.

Wow, that's a long post. I like the pts u make, so let's see

I have no doubt the Lakers will dominate, but since they r old, I dont think they r gonna go all out til the POs, so believe more on a #2 seed, but wouldnt be surprised if they finish as #1, they have arguably the best team in the league.

The Nuggets have a good team, will make it to the POs no doubt, but they also lost players so I dont think they'll be that strong, and dont know if they are better than the spurs, especially not MUCH better as u said. They could finish ahead os the Spurs, but still dont think they'll finish 3rd, tough to say though, Igoudala is a great player.

I see the LAC much better this yr, I dont see how they got worse, they got good players and the ones that left werent good anyway. Mo didnt do shit, was good to get rid of him, same for Nick Young. I think ur really underselling them, they have a deep team and I think they'll do well during the regular season. Griz have a good team too, might do about as well as last season.

Warriors are the wildcard every season lol... I really hope they make it to the POs, but I dont see it happening actually

Part 2

The East is tough, Miami will finish 1st 4sho, but then it gets complicated to pick #2. The Bulls would be the natural 2nd seed, but with D Rose out its tough to guess how'll they'll do, really depends on how soon he can come back and how healthy he'll be. Celtics are always competitive and could potentially take that 2nd spot although unlikely. The hawks do have a great team and could finish 2nd, I dunno, still think they'll be slightly lower, but that's just a gut feeling, hard to tell.

Knicks have no reason to do poorly except that they've been doing so, if they're healthy and play at their potential I think they'll be one of the powers on the East. The Nets are pretty decent and should make it to the POs although with no chance to make it far anyway.

Pacers and Bucks are decent, but I still think the Celtics will finish above them, they r deeper. Bulls are the big unknown, they could finish 1st (with Rose playing the whole season) or 8th with him out the whole time and the other guys just not doing it. If D Rose is out til feb-march like it has been said, I think they'll finish 4th ir so

We can agree to disagree ;)

I dont think they sucked, think they werent as good, but also think the LAC did very well on that series, nonetheless it was a very close series...

They traded Affalo for Iggy. Harrington didn't do sh*t so they have a better team than last year.(The team that took the lakers to 7 games.

Second Team:
Ric Flair Drippers
WEST

1. Lakers-the rich boy strikes again! They get anything they want and well, the Big Bully can't stop em....

2. Thunder-you can still make a case about them going to a rematch against the Heat next year, but it's gonna be harder.....Kevin Durant improved some I think and they will be pissed as hell to get a rematch with the Heat.

3. Nuggets- Well with Iggy they will be a beast team now. Great balance, and I think they will eventually be a champ contender once Kobe/Nash retire.

4. Spurs- getting older and older, when will they blow it up?

5. Grizzlies- well, Randolph, Gay, and Gasol guy working together they will be a team to watch for and could also topple SAS for the 4th Spot

6. Clippers- another team to watch out for. Griffin, CP. They will make the team get to playoffs. But can they get better than this spot? let's find out.

7. Mavs- Dirk.

8. T-Wolves- yes, the T Wolve, they were close lst season but then Rubio got injured badly, issues, etc. I think they will come back this season hungry for a playoff spot.

9. Suns- heard Scola there. With him and Gortat they make a pretty good Big rotatioon, and hopefully Fry or whatever his name is steps up and then the guy that came to replace Nash..........I think they are pretty legit if they can get somewhere.

10. Jazz- always up in it somehow, they always squeak in.........

11. Rockets-sick and tired of them every year trying, JUST GIVE UP ALREADY!!!!!!!! man, I hope Lin sucks, cause the longer we wait for a draft pick, the more mediocre we get. All my friends are sayin Lin gonna be good, let's see if he can be that "Linsanity" he once been. They do though have promising talent in T Jones and Lamb. They just need to get rid of K Mart so then he can just start bombing up into a star.........let me get to the next team.

12. Blazers-well I hope they do better than rockets. They have had a beast draft this year, and with Aldridge, this could be a good playoff contender right here.

13. GSW They are gonna be better, just hope they can just contend now

14. NOLA Hornets- Something in my head just tells me that Davis is gonna get injured, idk why, just something in my head, I know this will get arguments going.

15. Kings- just no hope................have nothing to say, just stack em draft picks and be the Pirates.

Ima do east later too tired :p

Yes, ur right, Afflalo out and Igoudala in ,akes em better. But I still think they only took the Lakers to game 7 cuz the Lakers looked shitty plus the team (LAL) wasn't that good anyway...

I think the Nuggets have a good team, matter of fact I just saw em last night and am watching them right now, the team looks good, but don't see em that good anyway...

I agree with most of it

- Still think LAC will do well this season especially on the regular season

- the Warriors are decent, may finish a bit higher, who knows...

- Hornets are decent as well, think they'll do a bit better than that

- Somehow I have to disagree about the Kings, they always suck, but I see the team fairly strong this season, I like some of the players, dunno about POs, but really don't think they'll be last

Again, the West is so competitive, it's hard to make predictions...
