Thanks for the compliment. It's all an illusion I think you see more in my team than I do

Belloso was a great inexpensive pickup

Howdy everyone, Portland Red Claws reporting in (bit late sorry). Struggle with Depth, how about just struggle altogether! Not sure that I was ready to advance to the III league, but hope to learn from the experience while I'm here. :)

First week of inter-league play, and we've got a shift on the #1 team. 3ball pulls ahead on the back of superior ratings and a higher point differential (I thought you were focusing on training??? Lies.). The two teams meet in 6 days in what should be the most anticipated match up of the season.

The Great 8 could not hold serve at home in the first set of games, allowing the Big 8 to take the early lead 5-3. While the two leagues are closer in terms of talent this season than in season's past, I still expect the Big 8 to win the majority of these games.

Hats off to Southpoint, who improved their rating 5.5 points and moved up 4 spots from last week.

POWER RANKINGS
1. Deadwood, 23.3
2. Natellio, 21.6
3. Chicken Hawks, 14.5
4. Thunderhorse, 10.5
5. Lakey, 8.5
6. Cow Lickers, 7.4
7. Tasty Tards, 7.0
8. Southpoint, 5.9
9. The Door Mats, 4.6
10. Eclypze, 3.2
11. Arutunians , 0.4
12. Oakland Soldiers, -6.1
13. DC Dribble, -7.3
14. Blazing Ninjas, -14.2
15. Portland Red Claws, -29.2
16. World Idea Toys, -49.9

I am focusing on training. Just happen to get lucky and win a little here and there. :-)

Have you done any postseason analysis to check the accuracy of the power ratings?

Hello Demon Hoosier!

How dare you attack the accuracy of the power rankings. They use math and spreadsheets. They have to be right.

Ok, I'll check it out. That actually sounds fun...

One plus one equals three, for sufficiently large values of one.

My guess is that they'd be fairly accurate. If they aren't, you might be able to identify the value that needs adjustment.
