You've done a nice job rebuilding your roster. A couple of perennial all-star types look to be the core of Southport for years to come. Maybe our bigs will battle in a future championship game :) That said, I'm impressed with the quick turnaround you did with your roster. One more good draft pick will only add to it.

I'm about three seasons ahead of you and my training is really starting to pay off. I hope SG moves on, sorry Great 8, and the relegated club isn't as completely dominant like SG has been over here. I'm glad I didn't add that big pricey veteran I was planning on. Don't think it would have made a difference.

Game of the week against LA Thunder. This should be a good one. Thunder has a hot team too. They kinda remind me of that quiet team that ends up with the promotion outta nowhere while everyone else is is thinking the tops of the division lol...heck it might be you that promotes. Your 8-2 and Thunder are 9-1. Good luck. Should be a good one.

Smoke and mirrors, my friend! I've got 1, 2, and 3 coming up from your side before the all-star game. We've beaten the clubs I hoped to be competitive against and won't lose faith if that 8-2 becomes 8-5. With each training, confidence is growing. Those points are starting to add up!

LA is a club that's always in the hunt to promote. I haven't let myself dream that big yet. I see the struggles of our last champions, Hawaii had to win to stay, haven't checked Rogues yet, but our other champs have since been relegated back down. Kind of a bummer.

Are the Eagles looking into transfers yet? Or are you looking to the next draft?

Well my pacers took a crap tonight. Wasn't expecting to win because I havnt trained much outside...what wins I've won have been low scoring drag outs haha....my young stud pf got owned tonight by Legends vet stud. Fouled in 34 mins of crap. Oh well on to Tuesday night. Good luck.
I'm using the draft again this next season to get a guard most likely.

I think Steel has a formula that is probably popular with BB paid supporters. Win now with some already developed guys while training then selling all those youngsters. It helps he plays in private leagues too. He can train twice as many youngsters as a regular player can. Of course, we can debate how well it works since he relegated, but there's no debate he's not got a D3 club.

Now I can train and sell too, but my returns will be half what he makes. I believe my best bet is to keep growing my arena. That's how I'll get my cash to compete.

No doubt the Great 8 is a tougher conference. Most of the promoted champs have come from that side, so most relegated clubs have joined over there to go along with some already strong clubs (Pacers, Sharks, Eagles).

Being a paid subscriber and able to play in private games will not give any more minutes to players being trained. Nor will they be injured if they get injured during the private match. Atleast from what I read a few weeks ago. But yes...im sure alot of managers train up their young guys and make huge profits. I've done it a few times but lately I'm just training bigs...centers and pfs. May go after a Sg in the draft and combine him with my bigs next season. I'm probably no different than anyone else. I'm AM keeping a few of my young guys and will eventually sale off some trainees after they grow some for profits to invest in arena or another big time player that will be with my team for awhile. I've had a loaded roster that almost put me in division 3 but all my guys were old and loosing they're skills....it's a hell of alot more interesting building my own team up.
I may be wrong about the extra minutes from privey matches but I understood it to basically challenge your best line ups for bragging rights lol
