Well, in that extreme scenario, I could agree that having less driving on that super crappy player would be better. But this is really very specific build and chances to have this kind of player are quite slim (he would be fired long before somebody would train his driving to 15... hopefully). In practice, it's hard to construe a player so bad that his driving would be a nuisance.

But in that case, it could be better to have Lucky Fan in the lineup, because he draws more fouls :D

True, I suppose talking about hypotheticals doesn't have a lot of merit. :)

A few days old now but:

Does it work well in BB (i.e. has anyone tested it with success) to have a sf/pf with high HA, DR, PA (16+) and mid-high (11-15) JS/IS ?
Like the modern NBA pre-GSW/CAVS where the superstar would drive the basket and then either kick it out to the specialist shooter or just draw the foul and follow through for a 3point play (ugh mid-00s nba :( )

NBA to BB-tactics seems never to really work perfectly due to the game engine but it'd be interesting to know if the kick it out-part works.

I guess the whole point would be to not have high rated Drive players who don't have high rated JS and IS to go with it. This would seem counter productive unless every other player on your team has a higher drive rating which would limit the shots of the guy with the lowest JS and IS. So if your guy is 8 JS and 8 IS, don't have his drive be 16 when everyone else on the team has a drive of 9-10. That guy with the 16 may hurt your team. This is what I've learned from all of this discussion. Thanks guys!
