1) There won't be any profit in sharing my way of playing. Just to give you an example, I've been the first to rely on the offbalanced Patient, someone did that in the past but only in "99%" losing match, just to try to hit the jackpot, something like the Full court press. I built up a roster to sustain this kind of tactic and it carried me to gold and silver. And now many teams are using it, same goes for 3-2 with internal prediction. I love to do experiments and to make my game less predictable. So even without considering my loyalty (which I can guarantee will be max), it won't be good for me to share anything, since my unique way of playing could be stolen and replicated.

2) I choose Philippines because you represent a challenge to me. My goal is always to win but I do also love to build something. I could have chosen many other countries if my only claim was to gain another piece of glory, basically I don't need it. I received offers to candidate myself in USA for example, which could have been a sure Gold in the Americans and a great team to face the World championship, but that's not what I'm looking for right now. I would like to be a part of a little nation development, if that will result in more glory for me that would mean we will achieve something and when I'll done my job I would like to leave you (exactly as I did in Italy) something to continue to follow my path or at least to create your own one based on the experience we shared together in these seasons with me as coach. That's why I didn't want italian guys with me as staff, that's why I contacted at first local current staff and I tried to animate this thread This is not NdR619 against the world, but this is Philippines.

3) I usually contact every interesting player, with the help of my staff. I did it in Italy with rather 600 18yo players every season, so here with less players it would be easier. As I mentioned before, if you agree I would like to create a Discord channel which helped us a lot. And basically I'd like to win something, winning helps a lot a community to feel the emotion together.

4) Basketball lovers are everywhere, so yeah, cultural difference and some kind of.... I mean, foreign coach which can be unwelcomed could be a point, but aside fun is fun, basketball is basketball and in my real life I'm a trainer too So to me no prob at all in helping managers from the beginning or even to share my ideas and have confrontation with old and experienced ones.

5) Two things: training and creativity. Experience gave me the structure on how I want a team to be built, but then in Italy and in the World I've been famous for my creativity. Last season we beat USA team which doubled us in salaries and DMI. We were ready to be outlashed, but combination of players with the risky tactic choices I put in place... we picked up a great W. And we beat Spain too. So we beat 1st and 2nd in the last World Championship! So, basically I am fully convinced that chemistry allows you to create better teams than the lone skills. You can have 5 big men with same skillset, same goes for the backcourt, you will always be predictable, you will always suffer in case of bad shapes, you will always find someone better than you in your favourite tactic. Based on this I developed different training plans, allowing each user to choos which one he prefers. That created a strong bond between me and the users, because I didn't let them feel forced to train a U21 player, they trained because it was best for their team too. Following my plan though

6) All around players are my way to see the game too, but U21 depends on how you draft a player. For example, many big men are drafted with low OD or JS or PA. Training them in OD or JS is quite long, so they could lose the path for a U21. What I meant with combination is that I want to have the right players to fill the single gaps. So big man without PA near the other one with PA in order not to freeze the flow

[continue...] Or that's why I created 4 models of small fowrards, balanced, internal, external and defensive (if needed I'll write the requirement ). Because if for example the team lacks of external shooters, a small forward like Dino was is necessary. It's a common way of thinking that to play look inside for example you have only to set a lineup with Insider shooters, but that's not true at all.
Because if your flow is not enough against the opponent's OD, your playmaker won't be able to reach the big men and will try to pass the ball to the best Jump shooter available. And if JS is low then the shot will be missed.
Same goes against 2-3 zone or Gdp, whenever your big men are not capable to shoot.

Example: (45401)
Here we had some bad luck because our SF Mezzogori got injured after 2 minutes. Australian big men were better than ours, I hit the right tactic by misleading his prediction, but Belloni was our better Jump shooter, so everytime our PF and C didn't take the shot, the ball went over Belloni, which had the worst Matchup Rating, so we wasted shots.
Another example in Italy's Cup final last season: (100686355)
Superocco team was way better than his opponent's. But he somehow decided to put three big men in SF PF C spots, with only one shooter in PG. The 2-3 set by Mighty Mice made a lot more difficult to reach the Bigs, so the ball went outside and you can see that half of the total Field goals attempted were done by PG and SG (40 over 83).

This is just to provide an example on how a well structured roster can overcome some difficulties

7) I hope so. I'm always confident and even if I know there are some difficulties and problems I can't wait to begin.
My first goal would be to have fun, to carry some enthusiasm in the forum, to help people to come out and live the GILAS together with us. Can't say right now how the future will look like, but I didn't choose you thinking it would have been easy It will require work, so let's do this!
