It's one thing that makes any manager nervous, no doubt.
But think about the inconvenience for the season that would be rescheduling games.
Could we guarantee that everyone would know about this rescheduling?
It would only take a manager to claim not to have been aware of the rescheduling (who, for example, was on a trip, camping, etc.) to generate another big problem. Would we do another reschedule then?
At these times, I think it's best to resort to roleplaying, imagining that there was a delay on the plane, that the technical commission was stricken with a virus and had to be isolated for 3 days; whatever story you prefer... and move on.
