Well I believe strongly a guy that is 19 can reach his potential, it just takes a little longer and he is a little older when reaching it.

This is not day trading that people are against - the day trading they are referring to is when you spend all day on the TL and buy a player listed at the bottom of his TPE and immediately relist him for a higher price. For example, a guy whose TPE is $1k to $50k that you buy for $1k and then immediately resell for $50k for an instant profit without having to put in any time training or improving the player. That's what they mean by day trading.

oh, well thanks for clearing that up, i must admit i have done both, but if you can find a good deal i'm all for doing it, i have picked up a couple of players just by checking the tl when i get on, which isnt a ton, and relisting them, i think that is why i have been able to get my talent level of my team up so quickly. Why are people against that? I still havent figured it out.

He can be trained, but he won't be able to reach his full potential. He's already 19.

What are you talking about.. in my opinion the 7'0 guy has a lot more going for him than the $3k 'future SF'.... you have to have tons of patience to create any kind of meaningful player out of the base stats he has..

He might be the best chance yet of raising some cash and I would then try and find your C a mate and train both of them. The inside skills shoot up and will help to keep you more competitive as well.

Note to the original poster. Do check the source and quality of the information you receive. Im not saying I am right but you are on could be on the verge of wasting a lot of time and energy trying to polish up the first guy you showed us.

The perennial allstar Centre and 1 other guy like him are going to be easiest to slot into your team, train single position at C on ID/IS... add some Rebounding then once they are competitive it is for you to decide if you wish to give them some addons such as more passing or JS.

Good luck!

I think the issue people have with it is that it gives an advantage to people who have more time to spend on the TL looking for bargains over people who don't spend as much time logged in.
