NBBA talent is dropping like flies this year. This has to be a record for half of the league to be eliminated, although I don't want to go back and do research... effort +o(

Might be another season of tanking league games just to make it to the Final 4 only to go up against a team with genetic chromosomes 21 times better than mine.

Honestly I have no idea how I lost. Soto should have obliterated that team down low, but what it all came down to was that his SG was guarded by my trainee and just destroyed him. I thought I way overstaffed my team for that game but apparently I could have used Castaneda or Jack or someone else... Oh well. Helps with league play but this would have been a fine year for a silver if the draws had gone my way.

Edit: Also he won on a 3 point BuzzerBeater... Salt in the wound

Just looking at your box score, that crazy even with the effort bonus.

Hard to imagine winning two quarters, 1 by 9 points and the other by 19 points and losing the game! The swings in this game were amazing...3 of the 4 quarters were won by 13+

What gets me is the +/- because Soto had a negative one and my backup scrub had like +10 or something

What pisses me off....well, first, let me say, I love the sim action of this game...the games generally feel very realistic and at least on some level usually makes sense....but what bothers me, or back to my start of this post, flat out pisses me off is when a game feels scripted. I watched the end of your game...you gave the ball back protecting a 3 point lead with 20 seconds left in the game, and 5 seconds into the possession fouled, a non shooting foul put them on the line because you were in the penalty. As soon as that happened that early in the shot clock, I just knew you were being set up to lose. Sure enough, they make two free throws, cutting your lead to one, quick foul, your guy makes just 1 of 2, setting up the winning buzzer beating 3 pointer after Soto couldn't hold a rebound.

I don't know if this is right but I always thought the outcome of a game is already decided at the beginning by the game engine. The "details" are just put together throughout the game to reach that result. So I think that's where the feeling of scripting comes into play. The game is manipulated to get to that result.

THat's true. It's a little more detailed than that, but indeed we are just watching the replay. The thing is, normally (in my opinion), the game is accurate and makes sense...but sometimes "unusual" things happen, and to me it just feels scripted in effort to produce the desired outcome. Fortunately that is the exception, not the rule..but I hate when that happens ;)
