LOL, may we please refrain from these indecent; and offtopic messages? We are here to discuss the changes in season 19 and now that its finally here lets see just what they have in store for us! ( or do they have nothing?) :(

Sorry, I didn't mean to attack. I even edited my post after I re-read it because it did sound harsh.

Just do the math on your own team for your own league. Work out how much you'd make finishing 4th and how much you'd make finishing 5th. I'm guessing that just like 99% of the BB world, you'd make more for finishing 5th.

What you said earlier is 'we're not putting it into perspective'. As in those that were complaining about the playoff economy. Your math skills are obviously strong so I'm guessing that you can see what we're all complaining about now.

those math is hard without data, how much money the fourth team get more in the next season ;) The only one who have those data, said it would be more then the gain you get as fifth.

One change I wish would come in is an improved fan base. The people may be fickle but it goes overboard. If I lose one game my fan rating goes from five to three, which kills attendance. Also for some reason my fans seem to think I will never keep my star players though my starters have been the same for two-three seasons.

My list for Season 19 Santa:

- Customized jerseys

- Better draft scouting & better quality of draftees

- "Naturalization" of players (those playing with the same team for a number of consecutive seasons should be considered drafted players for merchadising purposes)

- The 5th place Conundrum fixed: my suggestion is that salaries should be raised but payed only during the regular season. In this way, those 3rd & 4th placed teams can get some profit from getting to the POs. This scenario involves some tweaking with the calendar because the 1st week of the regular season only has one league game, but it can be done by playing the normal 2 league games in ASW and pushing the Tournament Final one week.

- Extended all the play-off series to the best-of-3 format (this is a longshot but I really find frustrating getting to the playoffs and getting booted almost instantly).

I also reached the finals from 4th place, also lost by 2 points in the 3rd game. And despite that I lost $$$$ in the playoffs. The team finishing 5th made more $$$$ in the playoffs then I did.

So what was your point here.

It´s about trying to win and achieve tasks. Promotion is the biggest task in every division, so maybe beeing able to get promoted isn´t that bad of a reward.
