I am not sure if someone already suggested these things, but here are two of my main suggestions.

What about more games in one week? Or another setup. But having more games played in one week has alot of advantages for managers, especially new ones. This way (new) managers won't have to wait for three months for a new season to start if they aren't going to be succesful. A week could (for instance) be devided in two weeks. Monday - wednesday: 2 regular games and a possible friendly. Thursday would be a day for internationals and friday - sunday for two more regular games and another friendly. That way you have two updates in one week. New players would feel they have more influence in their game, cause they see more results in training and more money to spend, cause they got more games played. It speeds up some things and players might feel connected (at least sooner) to BB.

I alo think the training page is in need of a change. It's not very transparant for new managers. Why shouldn't a manager be able to set out how many trainees he wants trained? If I want to train 4 trainees I should very well be able to. Each manager should be able to select who he wants trained and what he wants this player trained. For the training to take place a manager should only have the player play 48 minutes on any position. Training doenst take place in a game in real life, so why should it be that way here? Training a trainee shouldn't have to change the way a team has to play. If I want to train secondaries I still want to play a center on his best position. It just doesn't make sense.

A few have raised having more games a week. while they would be ok for some I think a lot of players struggle to get orders in 2 or 3 times a week and having to log in and check things ever day instead of 2 or 3 times a week would turn a lot of guys off. I know a lot of old time players who only log in 2 times a week and they would pull he plug if they needed to log in everyday to check things.

Why are there even 2 team countries? Isn't it about time to combine the micronations into regions so that they can have a similar experience with the larger countries?

About 1) Breaking it up in two weeks might be kind of drastic indeed (I only pointed this out because you dont need to change the formula), but for instance having regular games on monday, wednesday and saturday would be nice as well. That way you always have at least one home game played each week, it speeds up the season and your cashflow a bit. A big plus for new managers.

About 2) I am just pointing out training isnt very transparant for new managers. If I look at new teams I can see that they don't get the fact that they need a player to play at least 48 mins on the position they want a player trained in order to receive any training. It would be nice and more transparant to be able to focus on as many trainees you want. Ofcourse, if you train 10 players they receive less attention so the effect shouldn't be as big as it would be when you'd train 1, 2 or 3 trainees. Just simplify it a bit and I'd think people will feel more attatched to thier trainees and the game.

Two of my buddies quitted the game cause it is too slow. I understand the people playing it alot are people who don't mind that, but this topic asks for possible changes, so I am just pointing out what I think would help getting some more managers (back).

How about giving new users a free month of supporter. And have all new users be put into a random(Region would be cool) 4 team PL with other new users who have signed up during that week. It would be 3 games and a final.
Reason:
1st. Gives new users a taste of the supporter feature
2nd. an extra game for the first 4 weeks after signing up to get extra practice setting up game tactics.

Another good idea....
When I started, the whole staff thing was strange. the bidding and finding the right level staff for a good price. I think new users should start out with level 3 staff. That would help them focus more on reading the game manual and getting used to the site as a whole.
