training 1 player is super efficient way to make money now ain it?
and or your math suck or its mine, but after 4 seasons you can sell a player for 2M while you may easily achive 800k increse of value every season? shouldnt that be 3,2M?
and heeeeeey youve just spent 4 seasons to earn 2M?
you are aware that proper DI roster is worth 30M+ in these days market values? :) sooo it would take you 30M/2M=15 seasons of training to get there :)
epic tactic,just epic...

Yes, if you think about it as additional amount of money. The gains made from positive balance are the main source of money of course, but smart training of 1 player will let me make this 30M+ in 10 seasons rather than 15-20... (I also found your value a bit exaggerated - DLR Basketball Club, this year B3 semifinalist, paid only 18M for all of players from rotation thorugh last 2 years - mainly because his strongest player was a homegrown.)
It's better to gain 6 millions than 4 millions through this time, if it's possible to do it without any sufferings. Training 1-2 players at the time and being competitive is better choice than both a) not training and being competitive or b) training 3 players and being uncompetitive (however, in this case we can argue, because it depends on league, where you play right now) - I guess that was the GM-Manon point.

but after 4 seasons you can sell a player for 2M while you may easily achive 800k increse of value every season? shouldnt that be 3,2M?

It's 3,2M, if we count that player value with the one of homegrown player trained through this time, which has 1,2kk of value. I could focus on that fact more.

Not going to continue this disussion.

In a few season 10 mil+ players will be standard, lets talk again then. The changes done and announced are beyond stupid. Training is no useful source of income if you can't replace the players trained for less money. The market was ruined on purpose and now you are trying to bullsheet us on how brilliant all this is.

And off I understand that not everyone can get three 18yo draftees and just start training without losing gas games. But that's where your choice as a manager comes in. Either you aim to win or you aim to train. Or you buy already pre trained players and continue to train them.

In every other manager game I've played a manager can do both. The training speed is fast enough that a full roster of trainee can have their skills grow fast enough to be competitive. No need to tank or train out of position or anything like that. You can win and train at the same time.

Having to lose games because you are training players out of position sucks. What incentive does that give a manager to stick around? I get that the last update to the training system was to try and address this by adding the option to train players at a reduced rate (i.e. train C in Passing at 60%). Have the BB's evaluated how frequently that option is used?

All you ever say is that this and that is stupid. Getting kinda tiersome to hear. I cant even start to understand why your still in this game seeing how it is so bad.

Because I still see the potential - biut maybe BB has become a 40 TSP 37 yo All time great.

and the witch hunt continues...
the fun part is that if you havent noticed only BB staff is defending changes, nobody from "normal" users and your fanboys is defending it...
PS
after 200 rows of random text nobody gave the anwser to my simple question, how do you make money now in this game after tanking and d2d trading is killed completly!?

EDIT:

i would like to know why is it so bad if somebody can make money on TL and why is such a big sin to have TL history in green?

Whats your definition of tanking?
Most managers react to the raise in player purchase prices by cutting costs to increase their income.
Since almost all teams are doing it they are still more or less competitive.
In a sense they are ALL tanking (staying close to salary floor to maximise income) and i guess thats about 75% of all teams in germany probably global. Average roster cost has dropped in all leagues.
This increases average income and further fuels inflation.

Are you talking about day trading now? Swindeling new managers is what it all comes down to there.

I have no idea why you are harping on about swindling new managers when your two so called profit transfers are great examples of "swindling managers".

Transfer 26/04/2016 34 Purchased from Knätofs BBK Homegrown for $ 1 275 000
Transfer 01/05/2015 31 Purchased from Vattjom Vatos for $ 10 000

The player has starter potential and was trained only using a lvl 4 trainers that i payed 5k to sign and that had below 20k salary.

Peter Lyhdahl Sold Tiger Monza 27/02/2016 $ 969 000
Peter Lyhdahl Bought Oop to the Hoop 30/04/2015 $ 100 000

I also trained this player during the same time. I didnt make as much of him as he had worse starting skills and was a year older.

You sold a starter potential player with 10k salary for $1.25 mil!! That should not happen period. I looked at the team who bought him and he has spent 30 seasons in Div 4. Seriously?

Your other transfer, you sold a star potential player for $1 mil to a team who had been around for less than 3 seasons. That's a clear example of ripping a new team off. To me these transfers are much worse than any daytrader move. These players may been worth 100-200k in a previous era, but now your ripping off managers for a mil. You don't like daytrading, but your fine with this?

dont forget that even in real life (NBA), teams have salary floor and even if they tank they have to fill the roster with enough salary or waste that cash on air

you earn by balancing rooster and training, you stay competitive (and earn cash) while you train some great youngsters and then you can go for it, or sell and start the cycle again with bigger budget.this is a manager game, and of course you cant expect to win it all from first day (only if pay to win is introduced)

and tanking isnt killed, you just need to be smart with it

I`m the nicest person you will know:)
