Score 40-65 at the end of 3rd quarter.. seems like it will be difficult for sonic to end with 100 pt..

Xmas Day Match : Strong first half play prevailed Flyer Sonic past New Bak Kut Teh Kings 93-80.

It was expected to be a tough match between teams, but NBKTK seemed had too much Xmas party last night.

Peh Jiang Long and Li An Wen from Flyersonic scored 20 and 19 pts each, brought their team for a steady victory against ex-division mate team NBKTK 93-80.

Flyersonic with their renewed arena and 15000k crowd behind them, has aroused the team energy resulted superb defensive play, built a surprising big first half lead 47-24. The strong play continues on 3rd quarter as even though NBKTK are starting to hit shots, Flyersonic were always able to counter it back, preserving their 15 points lead going into fourth quarter.

It seemed like a garbage time when the score was 78-47 for Sonics, until NBKTK Giovanni Donnaruma and Jeremy Leslie lead the troops to make a furious 30-6 run to cut the deficit into 77-84 with 30 seconds left. Fortunately Sonics team were able to hit some freethrow and iced the victory.

The expected duel between Donnarumma and Sonics AKL did not happen as both teams are focusing on their inside play. Donnaruma only scored 12 pts for 4/15 shooting, meanwhile AKL only hit 1-4 FG for 2 points.

Jeremy Leslie led NBKTK with 23 points but were held to only 4 rebounds. Yeo Eng Heng had 12pts and Ahmad Islam grabbed 16 rebounds, 6 points and 3 blk.

Pre and post game analysis by Ben, interview by Eric and live commentary by Flysonic, so much attention for the game, too bad no free drink in the end, if not it will be perfect.

Ong Yi Ying - singapore showstopper
one of the veteran that help singapore showstopper till this far. One of the main piece that helps in the shadow of wang xiangjia. Since young as serve this team from a div 2 to now one of the powerhouse. As a veteran most of the young kids respect him as he understand what the coach is asking for. on the 8th dec, he make his season high of 29pt even if their main focus is wang xiangjia. congrate to Ong yi ying.

Fang Shuangxiang - xavis
best old man center you can ever find. age of 33 this old man still doesn't wish to hang up his jersey. his consistent contribution makes xavis to able to fight till now. While others still preparing for chirstmas celebration, he focus is greatly different from others. on the 3rd week, his rebounding skill doesn't seem to drop. Just wonder how much further can this center goes on.

one of the best guard in NT. Living like a kobe who can on fire anytime. Even there is a limited of 30min playing time, he still able to score 20pts per game. He can make 25 pts with just 21mintue of playing time. Opponent who see it need to watch out of his dangerous shooting or else it will turn the game to his favour easily.
