Isn't it traditional that we believe that the US leagues are the only ones of importance in the world? ;-)

I suppose, but being in the USA forum, that this would be relevant, to, say, the USA?

Seeing the way that the results have been going so far, might as well call it the Bulls' Hunting Ground.

Disappointed with the "NBBA" moniker. It should just be NBA. I highly, highly doubt there are any legal issues here (speaking completely off the record as a law student, but not constituting legal advice).

I'm sure that if BB takes off, David Stern or Rod Thorn (is he still the NBA henchman?)will show up in Boston with a subpeona asking for compensation for stealling the NBA name for the top league in the US......

nonetheless, eventually, I think the thugs would show up telling BB to stop using NBA in any way, shape or form....
unless, of course BB was willing to pay a stiff licensing fee......

I seriously doubt that the NBA would care. I mean, Hattrick is insanely popular amongst the type of people that play it, but I don't think that organizations from the respective countries mind if they use the league names. At most, they would consider it a form of flattery, nothing more. Anyways if a lawsuit did arise it would bring a lot of attention to BB and a lot of new users with it, and then BB could just change the name and be done with it. I really don't think it's much to fret over.

But i think the American National League suits the top level just fine.
