Hassan makes a good point. I think the teams that train well and get a good buy on the TL are the ones that come out on top. The key is to manage your money well so you can buy a good player on the TL when they are available, but sometimes it's just luck to find one that is under priced.

Just do your best. The worst that can happen is relegation. And if that happens you can use it as extra practice. Sometimes luck helps you out too. I've just been playing the game maybe 3 months now and already won a championship.

It's not because I'm good, it's because luck played a factor and I got a team that was already at the top of the standings. I just sold the players which I thought were dead weight brought in a few new players and voila a decent formula.

It should be interesting to play a whole season from the start with my own group. I'd rather be dead last starting from scratch than winning a trophy in which I didn't have anything to do with.
