No player on my team gained less than 8%, and the 8% guy didn't train except for 26 minutes one week.

At least we're not SFG, he broke the 1m/week mark.

I can't imagine how terrible the market is going to be for all these unloaded players. Any team with cash is going to make a killing.

Indeed. It would be nice if they would announce big changes to the salary function ahead of time. Make deciding when to buy less of a guessing game.

Who does have cash? All I get from the news is that SA just picked up 2.6M.

True, all in all the salary hits are all relative as everyone gets them for the most part. I wonder if anyone will get bit as bad as Turkey Sandwiches did back in season 5/6. Bought a player late in the season for almost 10m and then a week later the economy gets overhauled and that same player was worth half as much.

It is surprising for me to see my team so far down the list, given the giants history of having overpaid players.

What were the revenues for a mid table team like last season? I see you got 139k TV money (II.1 had 105k).

Yeah I have 7 million right now, hopefully 10+ if I can sell Romanazzi.

My C rose 12k (to $140k) without ever getting trained, awesome. And I can't believe Billingsley now costs 106k...lordy.

My salaries rose 91k total and I still have lots of money to spend. I have no idea what to do now, this stinks.

For what it's worth, I'm happy about the change. I think it's long overdue for top teams to have to start making hard personnel choices based on rising salaries. Lower division teams have had to deal with this for a long time, and it adds a lot to the game. This move is very good, especially because every other economic change for the last few season has moved things in the other direction, increasing revenues and cutting costs disproportionately for top teams.

I was only upset about the shock to the market, which is going to be bad, but I guess there's not much you can do about that beyond the news.
