Ah ah! I think so that the problem isn't solved yet, since my thread (9808.1) almost 3 years ago something has been done but having time everybody can still make DT with quite good profit. The chemistry proposed by Josef probably is a good solution but I'm afraid about how it can be applied in the GE (BBs don't ban me pls) another easy solution is to have a taxation of the 50% in the first week, 60% in the second, 70% in the third, then after one month go back to the actual taxation system

The only thing I would alter to today is that each team should register its players for the competitions they are involved in.

ie. League - register up to 15 players before the first game of the season - and during the season you can add up to 3 new names to register with your original (totalling a maximum of 18.)

Cup and BB3 - just straight forward registration ahead of first match - this would then be your squad to select from come gamedays.

I think this would give more excitement to the transfer list during the normally quieter end of season weeks where many teams have just 2 games. Draft picks would become more meaningful and this would prevent the turning around of players.

The earlier weeks of the season maybe quieter this way around and as teams exit the cups they will have their scrimmages to play their new players if they have used up their league quota.

Can you calm down and refrain from namecalling. How old are you really?
I like the fact that you can generate ideas, but with adding something you must always think how will it impact the game (is it really better than the current system), will it provide loopholes for people to gain from, can it even be implemented without changing the game completely.
BB-s have said in the past that trading is a viable part of the game. Perhaps they should restrict the profits down a bit more. I try not to reply to any of your ideas (it seems when I give you obvious reasons why it would not work or would be even worse than current, you shoot out x2 even more "out there" ideas). So I will leave the reading to BB-s and I am confident they will make the best decision concerning this.

This would remove buying the 500+ for one week to win a cup game. When you have filled these 3 spots (let's say you had 10 so now toal is 13), after that it's only daytrade? What happens when you sell 4-5 players, you have 8-9 legit players to list at any game? What happens when you get injuries?

Damn Wolf....9 players in the bin and their all bums...You are like the guy on the street corner selling fake gold chains. What happens if you sell all that garbage? You gonna start Saturdays game with 3 players? I really think the first week after buying a guy the most you should be able to get is 10%. Every week after that it would go up in 7% increments until 80%. And then have it go up by 5% increments. You would reach the current 97% max in 13.5 weeks which is roughly a season. This would also stop teams from buying ringers for one or two weeks. Problem solved...peace
