something fishy going on here? i guess it is time for me to pop up then!

my 18 year old willy has popped 7 times this season so far (a lot of 1on1)

3 x js
1 x od
2 x ha
1 x dr

seems good so far :)

while my willy has been great my wang (age 20) has almost been popping just as much also 6 or 7 pops so far
2 js
1 jr
2 od (1 is listed as 8 weeks ago not sure if that is season 16 or 17)
1 ha
1 dr

even 27 yo xie has had 2 pops, 1 js 1 dr

so it doesnt seem fishy to me :)

you can not really compare 1 on 1 training and JR training in terms of total pops.

1 on 1 would be always the thing to train if you like to see lot of pops across the boards, and overall it look be quite normal with pops what you hear from the majority. And yes it got slower, properly around 20% for your player ten for age and ten for the main reduction.

Edit: You could test it in a virtual enviroment.

Everything is fine, you just seem to overreact to absolutely everything...

i havent noticed training slow yet though i will admit i think the elastic effect doesnt work as well as before and that higher skills seem to take a week longer than before but in 8wks of training ive had 9 pops. 2OD, 1HN, 1DV, 2PS, 1IS, 1JS, 1FT

oh this is on a 20yr old 6'0 guard with lvl 6 trainer

I have. I was training 1on1 for forwards for two weeks in a row.

The 1st week 3 or 4 pops. The 2nd week I have 0 pops. And training rebound this week I'm pretty sure I'm going to have just 1 pop or none at all.

so you basically expect 3 or 4 pops each week

Not really, I just expect the normal 1 pop per trainee, making it 2 pops per week. Already expected it with the old system, expect it even more with the cross-training system.

However, I have dealt with the 0 pops per week thing in the old training system. Just wasn't expecting it with the cross-training thing.

For the average player in the game, this will result in approximately 10% slower training in their primary skill than before, and additional training in other skills approximately corresponding to that 10% loss. A particularly well-rounded player will continue to receive cross-training but will see a much lower reduction in primary skill training, while a particularly one-dimensional player will see a larger loss.
For those that have forgotten, this was the Season 17 news post... and I imagine some players will slow a lot more more than 10% in their primary skills to make it quite noticeable.
