Just started a couple of weeks ago and was given the team in last place in my league
but i am getting the 1st draft pick so am very happy
i cant relegate cause im in the lowest league possible, but there is a good chance my rookie will be a freak
5 star rating, 5 ball potential, PF, 18, A+ Grade rating, 6'9 - 206cm and in his practice match had the below in 29 minutes
18 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 steal, 2 blocks
yeah cant wait for the new season!!!

That's a great, great looking rookie. Do not give him anything else but one-position training, except when there's no option for it (RB, JS, 1 on 1 )

If you do that, you are set for immediate future. Head start against other teams is surely great thing to have. You could promote in one season.
But if you do that, be careful with buying. There are a lot of players who seem good (high JS and JR with bad OD, for example) but are overpriced. Try to make out of that money as much as you can. Btw, money invested in arena is never lost money.

Yeah will do.
from what i have been reading in other forums, i am hoping that his skills are at least half decent, which would be nice.
i dont really understand what they mean by "secondaries"
obviously its in relation so some skill sets, but how do i know which ones?

Each position has its' primary and secondary skills. Some say JR or DR are secondary skills for PG because PG needs OD, PA and HA as his primary skills. But I (and many others) count secondary skills as those which are not characteristic for a position.
For example: ID for guards, HA/OD for inside players...
Secondary skills are important if a need for them exist. Currently many people are training multiskilled players, so the need for secondary skills exist. This means your PF should have a bit of OD and HA, your guards a bit of ID...etc.

next season will be a killer challenge for my team in which i will try to stay in the top 5 of the great 8 in which atleast 5 teams will have rosters of 500k+ and i will be having a roster of max. 350k.i have made it to the top 4 for 3 seasons in a row despite having one of the lowest paid teams in the league IPBL.but next season will be a tough one for me.
apart from this i have 2.3 mil in my account which has been kept for a killer 18 y.o trainee and a trainer.
so these 2 things make me excited about the upcoming season

I would be excited about the draft and the cup games ...
Hope to get "Hall of Famer" or "All-time great" youngsters ... even if chances are slim ...
Hope to win more cup games , get extra revenue ... even if it's tough to advance ...

Pretty excited about the draft. I have the 5th pick, and have 2 pretty decent prospects scouted. Hopefully the 4 managers above me, leave me at least 1 of the 2.
S21, looking to not get eliminated from the cup in my 1st cup game. For league play, I've been stuck in mediocrity in D3 for too long. I won't be promoting anytime soon, but I'm looking to at least strive for a 1st time appearance in the playoffs. While 5th place might be more appealing, I want a taste of the playoffs, even if it's as a 4th seed! No matter the downfalls that come along with it.
