i didnt see ads for BB anywhere so far. i'm not saying there is none but i havent seen them.
maybe more advertising for BB would help increase user base. i know it's expensive to advertise and knowing this is a free game and that alot of new users will not buy supporter packages makes it even harder.

also i no longer see ads on BB. why dont they advertise something on BB and earn some money from it?

Statistic of supporters could be very interesting as I expect the number of supporters are decreasing as well maybe even more quickly than number of users.

And what do you thing are main reasons for significant decrease of user base?

Personally, this type of game is one that isn't likely to continue to draw new people in the facebook/farmville era. People who are serious fans of sports simulation or team management games may find their way here and stay, but otherwise there's not a lot of draw for a game where it may take a RL year for your hot new draftee to become a true star. Not when there's always quicker, more visceral experiences available.

On the other hand, it always amuses me to see people try to point out that the decline is related to whatever game mechanic or feature they're dissatisfied with, with the assumption that if that were just fixed, people would be back in droves. That's more of a behavior seen on Hattrick, with somewhere around 10-15x the userbase here, and no shortage of people who claim that the declines there are just because of whatever is irritating them at the moment! ;)

Real problem is patience, as this game is marathon, but plenty of us are fans of Bolt.

Isolated issues are not single handedly going to change things...but I think overall addressing issues helps. Not addressing issues hurts. That is what I think details the difference between hattrick and BB. Although I think BB is waay better/funner, hattrick does this thing where they constantly implement changes and you get this feeling of constant improvement. It seems to be working for them. So even though I think BB is the better game overall...hattrick is much much more successfull...and that has put the money in their pockets to continue to develop...which in turn gives them more resources and so forth.

But that's somewhat reasonable. Are you sure you're feeling OK? ;)

Yeah, I can see people being turned off by the relatively small amounts of change going on in the game - although hattrick is notorious for having their features announced and then delayed for seasons, there's at least the notion that changes are on the way. It certainly is plausible for people to get frustrated here when they see basically almost nothing done to the game (short of stats), especially if they don't peruse the bug forum to find out some of the things that Marin has fixed up.

But I was more addressing the things like "if we eliminate tanking, we'll be up to 60k users" or people talking about how people are quitting because all of the teams at the top divisions are old teams.I don't have any hard stats on this so I'm speculating as much as anyone, but I would expect that greater than 90% of the people that end up leaving don't have the foggiest idea of how top division teams or NT/U20 teams play, nor did they run into the tanking issue to a significant amount in the first place.
