Dude your math is way off. Like you sad not a personal attack but it just plain incorrect. The best way to raise your revenue is to promote not build the arena. Just look at how large my opponents in the finals arena is and how long he has spent building it, yet I am sure I will make more money then him from my arena next season by spending my resources on players that helped me promote instead. And my arena is literally half his!

And unfortunately you'll find out that your arena is in no way sized to help keep you in III, especially once the promotion boost wears off. The simple truth is you need to invest in the arena so you can maximize your revenues when you do promote. Players depreciate in value over time, but an arena seat, once built, never costs another dime and can bring in more money in the long run the sooner it's up.

No, you are wrong. I will do just fine. This is not exactly my first go around in div3. I have been playing this game since season 6. This is just my second team, but I spent most of the time in div3 last time and most teams behind me in the standings used to outgain me by a good 20 to 40 k per game... I am not saying I won't need to upgrade my arena if I ever plan on promoting further, but the time to do it is after you promote to div3 not before!

I know I will need a bigger arena eventually. But its like putting on pants. You can't jump in both of them at the same time lol. So eah the next step now of course is to improve it a bit, but if I feel like I can promote again before I am forced to do it then you can bet I will try. And by the way, a lot of the difference in revenue I make up for by simply buying good players cheap and resealing them for profit when I am done with them. It keeps me a lot more liguid too instead of having my money tied up in an arena.

If your experience is that it's easier to have a competitive roster and still have extra money to spend on the arena when you're in III rather than in IV or V, more power to you.

That's not the point. The point is that most people who are new don't now jack. I certainly didn't when I first started playing. Most of the time someone new asks what they should do the first thing they tell them is build a big arena. I just read that sometimes and can't help but shrug my shoulders because it's setting them all back at least a couple seasons to do it that way.

My unsolicited two cents:

I am going to just keep building my arena... Only having home drafted guys during this course until I get A diamond in the rough draft pick and have a decent sized arena... Then turning that profit on a weekly in v. Means I'll have some pretty pennies saved up come promoting to d.iv then can make push, expand talent pool of my players, staying American for that mercy bonus, and cut the deadweight. Not having to worry about my arena at all in d.iv, then promoting to d.iii again with same lack of worry over arena, also by now that great draftee I scored should be 20-22 by now consistently trained, so he should be able to fully hold his own.

But that's just my idea
