I agree with most of your post.
Still their entire roster is so limited.(atleast in this season)
Their starting lineup have 3 good scorers ( D-Wil,Joe,Lopez) and two not egzistent scorers (Evans and Crush)
Starting lineup maybe can play but their bench atleast this season is ridicolus. Those players arent so bad but they are yust bunch of street players ( I dont know right word on english ) .Whenever someone from the bench enters the game their offensive flow is dead. Blatch,Brooks,Humfries,Bogans. Non of them isnt passing the ball and it look like they all in their heads have some number of shoots they have to attempt and arent going to pass till then.
Mirza is not selfish and he rearly got a chance this season ( probably ok since this is his first season,he wasnt in training camp etc...) but when he got a chance, mostly with bench players he cant got a normal shoot. ( Greg Popovic also noticed that when they were playing against Nets ).Isolations and noting else.
This season it should be better , atleast Kid is smart enough to try everything and the right stile Nets can play.
Atleast Russian owner isnt afraid to change things. And if they menage to rid of Humfries contract they can be in good situation. And also Jason Kids name sells the ticket, and they will have better atendance because of that.

Kidd will be the perfect coach, i am from dallas and he played here and i think he will send the nets to the finals on the first year.

Basing someone's coaching ability on their playing ability is unproven at best, and ridiculous hopefulness at worst.

I just want to comment here. How many, coaches are there on a NBA team? I mean, I'm sure it varies team to team, but my point is, I see these benches, they have 15 players, 12 suited, and like 7 assistant coaches. Why have teams been after Kidd, to help mentor their PGs, if they have so many coaches? Apparently he can teach things that all these other coaches can't. So he's basically been an Assistant Coach for the last 3 or so seasons.

Great theory. Since he has never been a coach for even 5 minutes, we have no idea what kind of coach he will be, we only know what kind of player he was. Magic Johgnson was arguably the greatest point guard in the history of the NBA. The guy knew more about facilitating and defending and game planning than most could ever hope to. He was a COMPLETE flop as a head coach.

The Humphries contract should be able to bring them a decent player. They'd be able to get someone really good if Avery and PJ hadn't treated Marshon and Mirza so terribly and tanked their trade values in the process.

Brooks had a great rookie season but ticked some people off. So did Chauncey Billups but he got another chance and look what happened to him. If the Nets didn't want him, they could have at least traded him when teams were interested and gotten something in return.

Teletovic I think will have a better chance to contribute next season, even if Blatche re-signs on an inevitably terrible contract and inevitably regresses into the player he was in Washington.

Poor guy didn't even get a vacation. He is being thrown in the deep end. Everyone in expecting the nets to be big this year. With KG, Paul Pierce, Deron Williams, Joe Johnson and Brook Lopez the Nets are expected to at least challange for the eastern confrence

I must admit, I was completely fooled. I thought, when he hired Lawerance Frank, he was serious about this, and had a lot to offer. With him removing Frank, from the bench, and today, Frank resigned. That shows me all I need to see. The spill, was classic (I found it clever), but the way that team is performing, it shows he needs to go. Maybe he needed more down time, between playing and coaching. Heck, coaching may not even be his thing. I do think Tyrone Lue, will be a good coach someday.

Funny to read thru this post again ;)

"The spill" was so bush league and I'm surprised he didn't get suspended a few games for it.

If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.
