Speaking to Perpete, personally, because of Wolph I go to the forums more often, but thats because 1. he's detailed and logical, and then 2. he's entertaining.

Tough, the NTs are already a joke, thats why so few people on the offsite try to get involved. And few of the old-time veterans make big deals over it, it's more the "think they know it alls" trying the same thing over and over, and expecting different results (insanity)

Wolph is right about the farm teams.... even looking at the USA-Offsite, i could name you teams that did/have done that based on their user activity on the off-site vs time on main site, as well as where/how their players and teams went.

It's not hard to follow simple math, which is what this game essentially is, 1 math formula after another..., The thing about math, is it never lies.

If a player's original drafter and/or major trainer goes bot, then the player will no longer play for any NT.

I would correct the rule a bit - that player can play for their NT only after 2 seasons have passed from his free agent days. As it is, the rule is pretty harsh and would punish players who are being released from teams that just got bored (as Banelos from Spain, for example).

I see. So if a manager doesn't sell his NT player before going bot, you are ok with that player terminating his career? Uh, I don't know...

Well as you know, this happens in real life too (the team bankrupts or cannot pay his players) and players go to another team. Why should it be different here? I know you want to prevent illegal farms who go bot and then the manager who cheated can buy that player from FA, avoiding direct transfer of money to the farm. But you punish "normal" teams with that also...I think 2 seasons of NT hiatus in case the player hits FA should be enough, don't you think?

Well, let's say I suddenly stop logging in and the team goes bot after 6 weeks of inactivity. All my NT players would disappear? I think this is not fair to my NT and to the players. I don't want to treat the players as normal persons (they are bytes, afterall) but they should be able to change the team if their original team goes bot or bankrupts as in real life.

And to prevent cheating, a player who hits FA shouldn't be eligible for NT for next two seasons.

Of course I understand there are many way to render a NT player worthless to his NT. I'm just asking why the botification would be one of them. The easiest route however would be to cancel FAs altogether, but that would make BB a trading game again.
