Only 23 Managers voted.

Maybe if there hadnt been much discussion prior to the vote, a bit of hysteria might have contributed to the high no vote.

23 is a relatively small number so a bit of hysteria from the doomsdayers may have spread a little

Iam not a doomsdayer:) I love training players since I started this game in season 17,and for the first time my own draftplayer has reached U21,and that''s great! But still I voted NO because I think that everyone should play this game like he/she want,if a manager has the money to buy himself a winning team, why you have to punisch them with a tax.But hey,,, thats just my thought

Well when I first heard about this tax, I freaked out to be honest. I did not understand it's purpose, and I don't understand fully not even know. However, I can say this. My view is that it will not change much, nonetheless it is one small step towards making this game better.

This tax solve some problems a lot of you guys are not even aware of. In bigger countries you had to lose money in order to win the championship. Now the tax gives you the incentive to train more and overspend less. Champinoship runs have turned into who can spend more, preceded by season or two of saving, making it basically a mini B3.

Look at my league. Maybe I'm an exception because I was tanking last season, but I'm not the only one with 600k+ roster - there are two others with such huge salaries for D.II. One of them is not training much, so his training exemption is probably very small and he has to pay overextension tax. When he figures out he bought too many salaries at once, he will probably sell some of those players in order to avoid losing money.

So you can afford to spend a lot in order to win championship only if your training exemption is big enough. Which means making your team better only with transfer list help isn't an option anymore. Remember we voiced our displeasure several times about how a well-trained player at 26 years costs the same as a 18y old draftee? Well that won't be the case anymore. Less teams will be able to afford those 26y olds and will rather spend a bit more time training, which will balance things out a bit.

You see I for example overspend this season a bit, but it's not because I want to win league desperately, I actually wanted to play all kinds of different tactics, because I thought it would be useful with introduction of GDP and all, but know with introduction of this tax I am thinking more about coming back to buying PG with JS lvl 4 and OD lvl 20 with 30K salary and play LI in every game and save money instead of be in the minus and play all kind of tactics.

I'm sorry to say this, but I guess you are a bit of collateral damage. I don't think there are more than 0.1% of people like you who like to overspend in order to play different tactics. Why don't you buy 22-23y old players who don't have such big salary, spend one or two seasons of training them to tailor your needs and then strart exploring new tactics?

Yeah maybe my team a lit bit extravagant, but I think that with introduction of GDP a lot of teams that played LI will realize that way need to add more JS to their roster and this means increase in salaries.

I am done with training, I once waited for one pop 7 weeks with lvl 6 trainer and said to myself - no more :)

Generally speaking, it's not a bad thing. In a way, it will help to stop LI domination and make more use of other tactics. I vote +

Either the player had soft capped or you were not giving him the correct training minutes for the type of training you'd selected

thats not always true.i had a SF trainee for a couple of seasons.and despite giving him proper minutes at the required position with a level 6 trainer in a single position training,he gave me 2 pops in ID in 9 weeks and 2 pops in JS in 7 or 8 weeks.i too was fed up from the slow speed of his training so I eventually decided to sell him.
