What? No. D Lee has never been the star or flat out leader of a team. Even before Steph Curry became the leader of the team, Monta Ellis was running the show, not D Lee. You make no sense when you state that clearly you can see Curry is better, but the owner wants Lee to run the team. The owner wants all his players to be productive, which they are. Obviously there were problems between the management and the coach but he was not fired because the owners wanted D Lee to be getting the final shot in the 4th quarter and leading his team to victory. That would be idiotic. That is clearly Steph Currys speciality.

I think you dont understand basketball your speaking from your heart( fan opinion with passion for the sport) rather than business perspective. Curry was with the Warriors longer than Lee what did they ever produce?. The owner went and got D Lee for a reason, once lee go to the warriors, they went to the playoffs.

We can say M. Jackson made Curry better. yes we can make that arugement. But D Lee was already better that is to not debate. As far as taking the last shot that's a passion debate. Its doesn't say who is better. Many players take the last shot that don't make them better than everyone on the team S.Kerr took the last over Jordan in nba final does that make him better. That a odd perspective and is silly to say who better. Its a drawn up play nothing more or less.. I think you need to learn the buisnesss side before you bring on a fan perspective. If you can read I said 3 times Curry is better, The owner went and got D.Lee and these other guys for a reason.

He wanted to Lee to lead because curry was not taking them anywere, He was there longer than bogut and lee. iggy as well . This is not a debate of passion of who Is better and blah , blah. The owner paid good money for D Lee and bogut iggy and the warrior got better. The question is why didn't they produce to the owner liking.? Some would say d lee should have all star this year with his numbers 18ppg and 11 reb a game which is not bad in the west. Its what owner say for the team sometime not the coach.

Regardless of the eye test... Like I said before I think it pretty sad what happening on in Golden state. The firing and trade rumors too. Its the owner team and M . Jackson didn't please the owner with the player roles to his liking.

*sigh* we are not going to see eye to eye on this. Curry went nowhere playoff wise with the Warriors before D Lee because he was still gaining experience and GS had no big presence. Andries Biedris was their center for awhile and they were constantly dominated down low. Players were added in D Lee and others not to run the show but to be productive. D Lee was never meant to become their superstar. Also Kerr only took the last shot because Jordan was double teamed and he was in the right place at the right time. Jordan took 95% of the final shots for the Bulls that season. In crucial times you get the ball to your closer which is Curry for GS. I like to think of myself as someone who knows basketball very well and I believe that *you're (not your) not arguing with logical points from a NBA and management standpoint. I guess I got in what I needed to say but your probably still will not agree with these points so this is probably the last I will post about it with you. No need to continue he two man argument.

Oh now, its not a logical argument since I pointed out the facts to moot. ok..

Again if you think taking the last in a game make a player the best on the team . Then you need understand that called is clutch factor, he is good in clutch scenarios, that does not make him the best player on the team. All players have different type of talents on the court(skill sets). This is why the coach draws up a play to maximize those talents(skill sets).

Your not trying to understand. if the owner bought all the player to assist curry that cost millions of dollars, then he want championships or everybody better to help the team in trades or capital , etc.. If the new talent is not getting to where they need to be, no one but only one man. Who fault is that.?

That's the head coach job, thats a business perspective called sub staining and raising player values. The owner doesn't want to be throwing millions at these players and only one get better. He paid for all of them to get better and win. He put those other player there so they can lead. That's a business thing these player aren't coming for free, winning games or not?. Btw I think you bias versus D lee. He was one of best free agents in the nba for his position in the market a few years ago. One of the best Pf in nba.

Mark Jackson this season coached the Warriors to their 3rd most winning season in the history of the franchise. Isn't his job to win games? He didn't deserve to be fired.

I never said he deserved to be, I think its a bad thing , its come with the territory in sports.. Some teams are run by the owner wants. Even if the coach is winning championships, he still can be fired or let go .. Jimmy Johnson of Dallas cowboys ring a bell to the same tune.

Its come with the territory.
