Probably unlucky, but I'd say gameshape would have been the biggest factor. The key against patient offense is locking down on the best shooter (his pg). When you match him up with a player in average gameshape it's always going to hurt you.

As rude as this is going to sound, I need to say it so that bad forum habits don't develop. Out of all of the following options:

- Using (251520.1)
- Creating a new thread in Help.
- Creating a new thread in Global.
- Creating a new thread in Bugs.
- Hijacking a thread in Help.
- Hijacking a thread in Global.
- Hijacking a thread in Bugs.

You chose the last option. Your brain went through a decision making process and came to the conclusion that this was the place where you'd have the best chance of receiving help from other managers. Was there any aspect of this thread in particular prior to your arrival that was related to your problem?

Somehow this strategy 'worked' and I have no idea how, but you would've gotten a better result if you had chosen options 1-3.

But to answer the question, you played your starters in the scrimmage on Thursday. That put them well over the 45-75 minute target that you should aim to keep every player on the team around for playing time each week.

I actually like it that its not possible to play your trainee 48 min every game.. It gives the 'skilled' manager more advantage because when managed properly, you can play your trainees most of the time 48 minutes...

There is no skill in tanking or setting a lineup of 5 players...

Im not talking about tanking.. Its a fact you cant play your trainees 100% 48 minutes.. But its also a fact there are ways to reduce the chance that they wont play 48 minutes..

It gives an edge. The more edges the better..

But you can. Deliberately tank or set only 5 players. If you don't win, you don't have garbage time. If you don't have a bench, no one gets subbed. Makes for a rubbish game experience, but to quote yourself, 'It gives an edge. The more edges the better..'

Twice I set late game replacements as this at SF & C

SF A-C-C
C B-C-D

But in final 12 minutes player D plays SF and player C plays C
Instead of the other way around as I asked in coach 'Strictly Follows'

Lost training both weeks
No sense at all
