Oldest, saddest looking rookie in the game! (Aw, Nate, don't cry...)

With a scalp so scarcely populated, at age 18, how can you not be sad?

My sympathies...

As for the topic, I like the current faces, they should stay random. I like the idea of more facial hair, and if - in a distant future - more facial hair is introduced, it would be fun if it occasionally and randomly changed for some of the players. However they should not all be Dennis Rodmans.

Bad hair days, change of style, losing hair with age, playoff beards... yeah! I bet L'Oreal and the likes would be willing to sponsor it..

I have a feeling that #2 will probably not be on the drawing board anytime soon either.

NO ONE at this table ordered a rum & Coke
Charles: Penn has some good people
A CT? Really?
Any two will do
Any three for me
Any four will score
Any five are live

I bet faces are not completely random - during the draft wrong names and nationality of draftees occur- And apparently "wrong faces" too , as it was stated at news page, because when they corrected it not only nationality and name has chenged but a face too. (skills were coorect and reamin the same btw)

Nationalities and names, too, I think. I drafted an American player a couple of seasons ago named Su Yongxin (5652715). I had to keep telling myself that he was once a poor American baby orphan who was adopted by kindly Chinese parents who named him. It could have happened that way.

Don't ask what sort of Chunks they are, you probably don't want to know. Blowing Chunks since Season 4!

Note that Su is now playing in the Philippines, so maybe he's feeling closet to home these days...

That's a different thing - that's probably some minorities assigned to a country. There can be strange names and illogical ones but those are technically correct ones. I was reffering to an error which happened in the draft and last about an hour, if you didn't log in at the time and didn't check your roster you couldn't notice. In my case I got three serbian draftees instead of czechs and once it was corrected, those faces changed also - so there are probably some settings abotu faces for different nations. That was my point.

I only buy good looking players on the TL. I don't want an ugly team (no Celtics).

Every country drafts from a mix of possible ethnicities, designed to represent the actual structure of the population as close as possible. In the case when a player is determined to be from a certain national minority, then the name (and the face) are drawn directly from the database of the the respective country. The same procedure is used when new teams are handed out and their players are created.

In your particular case, there are plenty of American citizens of Asian (in this case Chinese) decent, who are named accoredingly.

There are no real Asian faces in BB.
