No one can take only very good decisions.

The biggest problem is the timing of the announce. But, like IRL, supporters don't come to the game if they know their team will lose.

That isn't entirely true. The 76ers in full tanking mode season after season were selling out games against GSW, OKC, Cavs etc

Well, you're right, it depends on the away team. But this is already took into account by BB.

No, it would be if the boycott was included in the criteria for the fan survey. As it stands the boycott is applied AFTER all other criteria is accounted for including if you play the champions featuring the reigning MVP. So here you might get at best 50% of the maximum capacity (well now 70% after they started backpedalling and reduced the effect).

Please prove it. Otherwise I remain skeptic.

I have an idea, and make this sugestion.

You need to do the fan boycott one season to another, not during the season.

I have a 3 cases cenario:

1- My team reach the playoffs, but loses at conference finals.

In this case the fans stands or increase next season.

2- My team reach the playoffs, but loses the first match, or always stay in playoff battle and finish at 5th or 6th or sometimes 7th position.

in this case the fans stands equal, not improve nor decrease.

3- My team was relegated or stays in last positions, never battle for playoffs, but not relegated.

In this case the fans decrease or boycott the games, if this case stands the public will continue to decrease.

@Knecht: I haven't forgotten about you, but please be a bit patient this time

Is there any solution or idea on your behalf, that we could discuss?

I will remain patient, but honestly I am starting to lose interest again - Austria is falling apart, we lost 2 long tenured managers already this season (=5% of our managers), a third one will go bot soon, and I expect one or two will give up by the end of the season.

Communication from your side needs to become MUCH better NOW and not a season, one month, or 2 years from this day.

What do you mean? The answer was the announcement made by Marin and then you wrote this (284063.150)
So, it seems that we both agreed.

As said, I promised to update my arena incomes...

Team 1:
13.12.2016 $ 512 228
20.12.2016 $ 454 985
27.12.2016 $ 476 781
-- first three games without boycott, then maximum boycott and incomes
07.01.2017 $ 355 904
14.01.2017 $ 367 564
21.01.2017 $ 375 168

=> weakly level +100k which is 50k less than league average. Salary floor is already 448k and average salaries are 551k

Team 2:
13.12.2016 $ 84 728
20.12.2016 $ 88 154
24.12.2016 $ 80 007
31.12.2016 $ 83 880
-- first four games without boycott, then "minimal" boycott due to lack of money

03.01.2017 $ 71 704
10.1.2017 $ 73 788
17.1.2017 $ 83 555

=> weakly level -34k. Having only three decent players in a team makes winning and training impossible.
