For example if you train stamina on your center and he pops in IS to 14, the skill doesn't go from 13 to 14, but from 13,8 to 14,0 or something like that. This difference of 0,2 isn't having a major impact on salary so that argument is pretty ridiculous.


And 0.20 is very optimistic by using the 10% figure.

I'm mostly just tired of the BBs constantly pushing us to make well-rounded players. It's becoming ridiculous at this point. We don't have to be told how to play a game.

Now it's gotten so absurd that they would punish all players, even the ones that were making well rounded players to begin with, just so they can handicap the guys who make huge salary monsters.

Nice.

Here's why I hate this argument. High-salary mono-monsters aren't realistic irl. Even the worst shooter will make one every once in a while, and even the worst passer will get the occasional assist. Even Yinka Dare ended up with a few.

Also, once again irl, players may work on one skill more than others as they practice, but they still practice all their skills, in drills, scrimmages, and games. BB is simulating this. Do you really think a center who plays the position every night but doesn't "train" shot blocking won't be able to improve his shot blocking attributes?

If BBs are pushing to make the game, and its players, more realistic, I applaud their efforts. I don't think this change was implemented carefully enough, but the jury's out on whether it makes BB better or not.

Well yes, you're choosing a group of players to get more specialized attention from the coaches. You can do team training, but then everyone gets smaller effects.

Why can't BB be realistic? Aside from the player faces of course.

Friday morning, Phil logs in and his beloved Chauncey Kidd has popped on passing!! Now Chauncey has 16 passing, and his salary will skyrocket!!

And instead of selling next season a PG with 120k salary and 15 passing he will be able to sell a PG with 122k salary and 16 passing!! He will be able to sell the player for some hundreds of thousands more than he expected. Great news after all!!


Damn my ''belorussian English"! You've probably misunderstood me. It doesn't hurt most of the users. It hurts the users who have spent lots of time and lost lots of games in order to get the rare player the liked. Now you don't need to use your center at PG for 2-3 weeks in order to train passing for one level. Most likely passing will be trained itself during the season while training normal C.

And it's the only and the main problem of the new feature. Now I expect the new era of prices drop. Now much more users will afford the players with nice secondaries and won't need to overpay. And the players without secondaries will drop their price even more.

I'm not sure about this. If it is just 10% for a random skill who knows if the C would ever get a passing pop. It would require a bit of luck for that to pop to happen, so I wouldn't use the term "most likely " and it would still be advisable in my opinion to train passing on that C anyways.
