Well I don't want any major changes in the game, but adding a few additional attributes to a player would be awesome :)
For instance, Strength might play a huge role for post players and thus can be introduced as one attribute. Same for the guards or outside players, for which agility can be introduced. Clutch ability also, I think can play a huge role in close matches.

My list for Season 19 Santa:

- Customized jerseys

- Better draft scouting & better quality of draftees

- "Naturalization" of players (those playing with the same team for a number of consecutive seasons should be considered drafted players for merchadising purposes)

- The 5th place Conundrum fixed: my suggestion is that salaries should be raised but payed only during the regular season. In this way, those 3rd & 4th placed teams can get some profit from getting to the POs. This scenario involves some tweaking with the calendar because the 1st week of the regular season only has one league game, but it can be done by playing the normal 2 league games in ASW and pushing the Tournament Final one week.

- Extended all the play-off series to the best-of-3 format (this is a longshot but I really find frustrating getting to the playoffs and getting booted almost instantly).


Really like the idea of tweaking the salaries during playoffs which in turn would make getting into 4th and not 5th a better option. Plus a three game playoff in the early rounds would be cool. WISH LIST .....

- Better draft scouting & better quality of draftees


The scouting is already great because you can save up your points and accumulate them for multiple seasons. Save enough and you can scout literally every decent player in your draft. That only started 2 years ago and was a huge improvement to draft strategies.

As for 'better quality of draftees'? Why? The game is already bloated enough with quality draftees because national teams will save as many players from their countries as they can and make sure they get on an active team. Plus it takes away the reward of finishing poorly, scouting properly and then landing a top talent. That's the idea of the draft, it's not to make sure that every team gets a top prospect.

Finishing poorly does not guarantee you a good rookie. Even if you get a premium young stud, he can still be an aggro beast that fouls out every game.

Finishing poorly to draft is not a valid strategy in this game.
