It would probably be less stressful for you if you accept the way training works in BB and not try to push change in a fundamental part of the game. It's not going to happen.
Oh, I have realized that quite some time ago. Anyone playing Buzzerbeater is stuck with it. Meanwhile, I'll continue to advocate for specific improvements in BB, such as improving the fan survey, the economy, free agency and training, at least until my Supporter runs out..

@Hrudey. Go away and leave me alone. Bullies are never welcome anywhere, even GM-bullies.

I'm more interested am I tanking currently? :)
By virtue of the fact that you're playing with 13 bots, no you're not tanking. I already said multiple times that at the lowest level you would not be able to implement any measure efficiently. If you made half the money (lower gates or higher floor) while going down, would feel equally good about being in D3? I don't think so.

This would leave us really with the micronation problem. In any case that is why I would personally link any measure to performance against human managers and not bots. Still only applying measures for established managers, with large arenas etc. etc.

Agreed. Even at the expense of a bad survey for 6 consecutive home games before this guy played the next human manager.

playing bots is like an "exhibition". Who cares? I'd go to an exhibition, maybe, if it was free.... (cause i'd still have to pay for parking, food, beer etc.)... But I certainly wouldn't pay for an exhibition, namely because it lacks the competitive nature. (same reason I wouldn't pay to watch a team tank)

Yes, it's little to none effort and it works for me perfect in my current situation - training 3 young players mostly out of position (if the ever have any).
You could do it equally easily in D2 with a better surrounding cast. Of course, a better surrounding cast would cost money both in acquisition price and weekly salary, which is the real reason why people decide to tank.

When I bought my current trainees in Utopia (D3), it was season 30. This is how it went.
http://www.buzzerbeater.com/league/17646/overview.aspx?se...

I trained 6 players several times that season. I trained every week even in the playoffs and ASG week. Clearly I had a decent team aside from my trainees, about average for the league. My trainees were 8/4/8 8/8/6, 7/5/8 8/8/4 and 3/6/8 4/7/6 (they were all 19yo), which is absolutely comparable to yours.
