As my six year old son has recently discovered the Smurfs and is heavily into them right now, I can give you some free scouting. Normally I'd say you have nothing to be concerned about, but panthers do fall into the general cat classification, and the Smurfs always seem to get the better of cats (case in point, Azreal, who I think is 0-38 against them). Of course, I think that is more a tactical failing; Azreal and Gargamel both seem to try isolation offenses when in reality all they should go is look inside as Smurfs, being short, are exceptionally unlikely to have adequate interior defense or rebounding.

Defensively, though, don't overcommit - Smurfs are known for their sharing and we know that if you double up on one of them, they'll find the open smurf to smurf the open J. The Full Court Press is right out, as they've demonstrated their ability to dominate scramble situations against Gargamel and Azreal. I'd probably go with a 1-3-1, again on the theory that they're not going to be able to do anything inside.

Please let me know if you're going to be playing against Scooby Doo later; I've been subjected to a lot of their tape recently too.

I just found this thread. Read this reply, said to myself "This is something I'd read on HT, its "that" brilliant" then I saw who posted it and it confirmed my suspicions! Well smurfed.

The pathetic thing is that I really feel like I want to make a skill level joke because you said 'brilliant' but that isn't one of the skill levels here. ;) Though I really do feel like if our mutual friend who is the big Cleveland fan in HT had started a thread like this, it would have made my month.

I miss our friend from Cleveland. Do you suppose he's doing okay? Perhaps the southern charm of NC overwhelmed him.

Win Streak Extended to 3

Tonight the Panthers dominated Law Dawgs BC with a final score of 114-74. Eise de Wit felt very generous with 15 assists. Also there were four players with at least ten rebounds to help with the team recording 73 rebounds total. The Panthers also went 8-9 from the line.

"We are tired of losing and we do not want that sad feeling again. I am very pumped as well as my fellow teammaters. Bring it on IV.56!!"

The Panthers hope to extend the win streak to four on Saturday at 8 pm at the Panther's Grip against Johnston County Bootleggers. Go Panthers!!
