To answer your other question... in terms of draft strategy, just look at your roster and see what position you could improve the most. Then either try to get a player with the most potential (for training) or the best skills (for immediate impact).. hopefully both! Especially for teams who are going to be around for a while it's usually better to draft based on potential, since they are worth a lot on the Transfer List and you can make them into a star player in a few seasons.

You can't really improve with players from the draft, given that their highest possible skill is respectable. Not to mention that it's not worth throwing a draft pick for a player you're not going to train or sell, which can be bought for 100k off of the transfer market.

You could still rank the best PF and C at the top but put the better guards ahead of the not so good PF/C. That way if you do get one of those good guards u can sell them off and buy a PF/C trainee

Well there is no harm in ranking the better guard players ahead, if someone else takes them you will just end up with your bigs anyway.
