Awesome, where are you thinking about living? Are you single? The answer to that second question is important where you want to live.

You've seen pics of the wife! We'll she's currently my fiancee, but there's no better way to get a visa these days! ;-)

I used to live right next to SDSU which was great (as a single) and then in La Jolla next to UCSD (you get the idea?) but i'm actually going to be working in Orange so i'll probably be up in Huntington Beach area. First few months i'll be in Silverlake in LA until the wife finishes at USC.

Where are you based?

I'm in Rancho Bernardo, used to live in Pacific Beach when the wife and I were just dating. Moved up here and bought a place 5 years ago - top of the market baby!.

Coco, I actually play in a Scripps Ranch soccer league. SR/Poway/RB are all really nice.

Yeah, I've been the outlier in every league so far I think... still start at least 3 draftees, and it pays for scouting at least. I guess I just haven't been able to cut ties with my og players, and coming here from Hattrick where it saves you bundles.... it just always made sense for me...

Very nice indeed.

I used to play in the 'California Soccer League' in North Park, but it was basically just local Mexicans.... :-)

Merc-wise, i'm at like 80k. 100k+ is phenomenal for a newly promoted team!

I thought the key distinction was with kids/no kids. Without kids you can still live in some cool neighborhood. With kids you move to Scripps Ranch, put an American flag out of your needlessly large house, and spend the day pushing a stroller at the mall.

(ok ok, I know this doesn't really describe our Steve!)

Actually, its a running stroller around the neighborhood...but everything else is dead on.
