How about 1 change per season??

And also, I'm all for different hair styles (and faces too, of course! (: ) I mean, who doesn't get haircuts?

Good idea, any person in real life can get haircut, and when they do, we still can recognize them by their face. In BB you can change haircuts so even if they get new haircut every season you still can identify its the same person. So as long as it's not plastic procedure, only one player per season, and can maintain the identity of the players appearance, I give you the thumbs up. It would be cool and realistic.

Yeah thanks :)

What about, we can choose what our draftees look like? Perhaps the developers (or whoever does it) dont make the faces of the draftees, then after say a week, if the manager hasnt changed them, then its just a random face. If that makes sense?

..or you can make faces depending on the type of player. The bigger some of their skills are the bigger a certain face feature is. For ex.
JS - eyebrow placement, JR - ear protrusion (RM Hommage:)
OD - ears, HA - nose :)
DR - hair, PA - eyes
IS - chick bones ID - mouth
RB - jaw SB - mouth asymmetricity

The change can occur once a season together with the salary update. Then, looking at a face you could actually tell what kind of player he is. Sort of a skill spider web.

I have learned the following facts:

*I guess they also forgot to tell the kids that the more Pinocchio lies, the better his handling skills get also.

*The best outside defenders in the world can be found in the north pole where all the elves are, just hope i can snag one when they come in Christmas cause I need good outside defense. I don't have one, oh well I'll wait 9 months or hope one of the Lord of The Rings elvish characters come to real life.

*I understand now why the attention on Angelina Jolie is all CENTERed.

*Michael Jordan's bold hair is a great indication of his driving skills.

BIg nose => big hands => better handling
You have to talk on D. Good ID for talking, good OD for listening. btw Nanook is not an elf.
Drivers can have fancy hair, but it's a weak one. How about Face Oblongingness? Good drivers with oblong faces, bad with round faces.

I'm not crazy for this either. I agree that whatever it is, we don't have a Michael Jackson case where one user can change a player from black to white, then goes another team and turns black again. But I have to say I like mizzou28 idea of doing it when you draft so you really have the same identity throughout and options shouldn't be outrageous like Dennis Rodman haircut cause then everyone would do that. The thing is that as long as you drafting you never know what the player looks like in the first place, so you can give users the option to be able to choose what they look like and could do to only 1 player, but the options should be reasonable and such that choices made by users are about equal so you won't have something that stands out like Dennis Rodman haircut that would far be more chosen than the rest.

In conclusion, as long as creating players doesn't make it look obvious users control players appearance, and maintains the individual being the same from entering the draft until retirement, then you are eliminating the con from the equation and therefore it can't hurt to only use the pro that come with this

Much like how I suggested in my new idea on how we can choose names (Read My Thorough Detailed Thread On This (179261.1) for whatever commented you have on the names, in here only respond on the players appearance issue). I thought now the same can be applied in here as well.

If at least players cant create faces which reasonably they can't. If this happens before players being drafted (thanks to Mizzou28 idea), how about if BB generates 10 different players appearances to choose from and the user can choose from these. If the user can choose a random appearance, I think the main thing to consider is that for example in the US you have 10 random players, some black and some white (and no i'm not racist). Some would constantly just choose black or just white and would not be realistic. I was thinking of the draftee was for example going to be black anyways, then user can choose from 10 different appearance of a player with that exact black skin color. This way you don't get outrageous appearances like everyone headbands, players getting plastic surgeries midway through, etc... The player is choosing from what BB players appearance generator creates, so user won't create something crazy and would be normal because it was created by BB.
