i havent got my training speed notes with me but two dfferences between jumpshot and 1on1 training are that jumpshot does JS more quickly and does JR, where as 1 on1 doesnt do JR but does do IS slowly.
so if you want a cheeky pop or two on IS you really should do 1on1 for forwards, then see where your js is and go from there. bear in mind an IS pop could take around 8 weeks if he has no sublevel there already.
so if you can imagine a season of 1on1 for forwards would increase your js a fair bit, leaving jr where it is.
all i was saying that aiming for 1 IS pop might not take long at all, then you can get to training other than 1on1 for forwards.
what you could do is note down the skillset you want for him at the end and work out how to get there.
i downloaded a spreadsheet file that can help to do this (think it was coachparrot on help bb programs thread)
you may find the mix of skills you want requires some weeks of most of the outside skill training choices.
i only mentioned those 3 skills from my own experience. and js and jr ive trained in different ways to suit what i need.
ive read back over the other posts and there is some good advice in there with common themes to draw on
