He is not a great jumpshooter, but he is a capable jumpshooter, I agree that he can't shoot 3's too well. His ball handling is okay, it looks awkward because he is tall but he is a good ballhandler. He is a good passer if you watch the games, he is NOT double or triple teamed every game especially for the Heat, that being said, I admit that is should probably be 12 or 13.

You're probably right but I still feel that these skills accuarately describe the Lebron of BB.

This is Lebron in my mind. I am not a big Lebron fan, but can admit he has a great skill set. If their was a mental aspect he would grade out atrocious!

He is a good jump shooter, just lacks range hence the 15/10.

I believe when he is playing hard that he is one of the best perimeter defenders (18-19).

Handling is a 15 as he is a good ball handler, but is prone to turnovers. However DRose turns it over more than Lebron and I'm sure most of you guys would give him higher than that, right? So yes turnovers are not all about ball handling so i gotta give him a solid score.

Driving is a 19 as I can't name more than 3 guys better at going to the basket. period.

Passing is a 14. Yes he may pass to open targets, but he does see the floor well and averages plenty of assists per game.

IS is only 10 because I believe this implies mostly post game. I believe driving is the getting to the basket part and therefore do not include dunks etc... I could actually go lower here as he has a very sub par post up game, and that is common knowledge.

ID/RB/SB - Lebron is very skilled at all three for a SF. He can guard PF's with relative ease and he grabs plenty of rebounds. I left SB at 10, which is pretty good, but to be honest Lebron's shot blocking happens from behind. Great shot blockers don't block shots that way. He uses speed and athleticism to block his shots and that is attributed partially to inside defense. I actually think DWade is a better shot blocker, hands down.

His perimeter offense has improved alot since his old days. And he is one of the best passers and play makers in the NBA right now. All thanks to Mike Brown's incapability on offensive plays, so LeBron had to do most of the work.

I think we need to add a couple of additional categories for LeBron

Hype: phenomenal Selfishness: tremendous
Choking in Big Games: wondrous
Comparison to MJ: atrocious
Taking Talents To South Beach: legendary

Oh wow, this made me actually lol.

And back to the question of Lebron's passing, I think some of those saying he only makes "driving" and "double team" passes haven't watched him play enough. Granted, he makes a lot of those, but the accuracy of his passes (not just on alley-oops to Wade) is amazing. I'd argue that Lebron hasn't been driving so much this finals but he still has a great amount of assists. In addition, most PGs that rack up a lot of assists also get them from driving (Chris Paul doesn't "drive" so much but he always sneaks his way into a spot where everybody's eyes and bodies lean towards him). And yes, Lebron does make the "obvious" pass a lot, like on the pick and roll when the roller is open, but that doesn't mean those are easy..

It's improved huh? Well he shot 33% from 3pt land...right at his career average. He shot 75.9% from the FT line...just a bit above his rookie year and less than the last 2 years. His actual FG% did, however, go up. This is a result of dunks and layups as both of those went up versus jump shots this season. this is due to the fact that Miami can't play offense in the half court and they get out on the break.

Now you say he is one of the best passers and play makers....that can't be denied. However he had fewer assists this season than last even though he had a better supporting cast this season. He also blocked a whopping .6 shots per game this season...down from the last few.

Now you take a jab at Mike Brown, and probably rightfully so. However, LBJ thrives in an offense that has no structure because he isn't smart enough to run a real offense and learn the intricacies of it. If he had a better mental make up then he would have 3 rings after this season, but because he doesn't he will have a whopping zero.
