If you win a home game with a starting 5 from your home country in the top league, why wouldnt your merchandise spike upwards of 50k that week?

in the salary regions of the german league i would say an all german lineup, make nearly those 50k extra each week then a comparable foreign one(same NT contribution).

Buzzerbeater isnt a game of tact. You dont win with "strategy". You win with cunning, shady buy/sells on the transfer list, tanking to save, and renting expensive players.

Its sad, but its the truth.

in germany not every first division tanker, made it back to the first league and nobody slam with that strategy till now. In nippon i think promoting is much easier i believe, since there ain't that much team who maxed out there salarys but hopefully you make this step to a big nation in future. And i am not saying that tanking is always bad, but is it no winning guarantee and not the only way.

it's like saying NBA teams shouldn't even bother having rookies, since the skill difference is SO huge...it might be time that the rookie/young player skill curve isn't too high

This game is nothing like the NBA so no sense in thinking about it that way.

Trainee's (not rookies) can still play in league games at the top level, just not 18 year old trainees. You need to get 21+ year old trainees instead. Think of it as 3 years of college ball. ;) And save the 18 year old trainees for scrimages. That's what they're there for.

Oh my god....This is the second forum thread where I agree with Sharman on his point...
So let me show you some examples...I bought a 26 year old PG with level 15 OD and 14 passing for 3 million(that was with a 26 minute biding war) in season 14 and now it is season 18 and I just bought a 26 yr old level 19 OD and 21 passing(Buzzermanger says it's a 21) NT starter for 1 million and had to fend off 2 other bidders for 3 minutes on a Saturday Night(prime time with 2780 users online)....Crazy stuff...I know the guys salary is 300K a week but he was just sold for 4.6 million 2 seasons ago(and his salary was 220K at the time)..
This game is in demise..People just don't want to admit it..Nothing new or cool added in two season and now I read about people letting the AI in the game select the line up for the game( Blank Lineup garbage). I thought LET COACH DECIDE was a cop out but this is just sad...pretty soon there will be a download Grease Monkey and Auto Play option like on some of the Facebook games.
I started playing in season 7 and at the same time I started to play Hattrick...Now Hattrick is evolving with tons of new stuff added this season and last. I really think that this game was started as someones hobby and now it's not that persons hobby anymore. It's like your High school sweetheart( she is in every thought) and then when you go to college you slowly forget about her....BuzerBeater is that High school sweetheart and the BB's/developers are off at college..

Who cares about a football? Wasn't hattrick that great game, where you just had to train playmaking (I remember there were people whining about it)? No other options or you lose. It's obvious Japan users have a bit more fun with 636 users, but it's nothing compared to France's 58k.

A cursory search of your transfer history shows that this guy (7954778) was the last player you purchased for ~3 mil. The purchase occurred during season 13 and he was 23 at the time. Little bit different.

Seems to me that 2 things have happened in this game:

1. the supply of quality older players has finally caught up with the demand for said players.

2. most users have realized the benefit of having 300k+ salary monsters doesn't match the cost.

These phenomena are both good for the game, as the former economic model made it impossible for 90%(D3 and below) of the BB population to have any realistic shot at competing in the upper divisions.

I really think that this game was started as someones hobby and now it's not that persons hobby anymore. It's like your High school sweetheart( she is in every thought) and then when you go to college you slowly forget about her....BuzerBeater is that High school sweetheart and the BB's/developers are off at college..

Your perception doesn't match reality, unless you believe the BBs lied to us when they announced the hiring of the 3 new staff members.
