hey guys, I gots a question. after the REGULAR season ends (which it does in about 24 hours, win or lose) about how long is it until the start of the next one usually?

EDIT: screw that, I have more important matters to attend to. the game has screwed me, it appears. if Assault team beats Warriors Select, I will have to play in a relegation game assuming I dont win by around 300 points. I got here 4 days ago, and I'm already about to be demoted, with a 2-0 record? WHAT THE HECK?! I swear, if I have to play another season just to get back where I am, while another team that shows up on the same day gets free passage to next season with a worse record since they've appeared (Assault team) .. I'd kill someone, because that'd be a load of bull.

Don't worry, even if you loose the relegation series, you won't change leagues. You won't ever go lower than Division 5 USA.

After tomorrow's home game, if you are in a relegation series, you'll play the first game of that on Tuesday. You'll be able to play a scrimmage on Thursday. If you aren't in the relegation, you'll only play the Thursday scrimmage.

If you're in relegation, you'll have the 2nd of 3 games on the following Saturday. If needed, the 3rd game will be that SUnday. If not in relegation, you'll automatically have a scrimmage scheduled.

On the Monday monday, the seasons will change, the draft will happen, and your current players get one year older. You'll get a scrimmage that Thursday, and then the first league game of the next season happens the next Saturday.

Does that help?

The Division 6 leagues are there to help ensure that everyone gets a cup draw, and that the cup lasts a certain number of weeks. The national cup championship should occur on the last week of the season. It's this Thursday.

Also, if the game were to add enough users, some of those could go into D6 leagues. I think there are some human users in D6 for Italy and/or Spain, the two largest countries in BB.

Took a tough loss on the road to end the season. but the bright side is taking a loss earned me a couple extra games to work out the kinks with the team. despite putting paige in a different position, the patient offense still determined him to take most of the shots as opposed to the more sure-handed Teddy Seitz. and nobody on my team shot for jack crap, with only one player exceeding 50% and many missed DUNKS (wtf?!). in the end though, what did me in was the turnover margin. my team committed 8 more turnovers

As for the championship/MVP, as I've only been in the league for 3 games I'll leave that to the sane people in the league and focus on the relegation series, I suppose, since I want to end this season with a positive league record.

My predictions are for the Eagles and the Tigers in the first round in the Big 8, and MrWinless and an upset from the Vipers out of the Great 8. The championship will be between my team and MrWinless with the Eagles winning 2-0, maybe 2-1.

For MVP, my prediction is O'Byrne from MrWinless' team. He leads the league in scoring and second in rebounding.

I suspect O'Byrne also leads the league in salary!

Though doesn't he have a high priced companion now?

Still, I agree with the MVP. I didn't dub him "The Beast" O'Byrne for nothing!

Overall, I tend to agree with your predictions too.

Best of luck to everyone in the playoffs!

The 2 relegation series should be interesting as they both involve a pair of teams that were placed in the league mid-season. my own team and the washington celtics both have only 3 games under our belts, as does yellow jackets. meanwhile, Warriors select made their first appearance after the all star break, which I supposedly hosted before my team was created.

..thanks. but to be honest, it didnt look that great to me. this a gonna be a tough series. only thing that held me afloat was the fact my team got more rebounds. fouled 'em too much, turned it over too much. I have a feeling we'll need that other home game to pull out the series. nice ending, though, that 3 at the buzzer. obviously, I still need to work on my strategy, because this barely worked out for me. you see, THIS is why I was ok with going into the relegation series.
