This is more of a question but I have already wondered how the TV is calculated. Does anyone know if it is based on the average salaries for the entire season or the average salaries at the moment the season ends because that can be a lot different as teams sell off lots of their good players in the offseason, someone must buy them, but here in Australia it is quite common for teams that have had $300,000-$500,000 rosters all season to be at the salary floor at the end of the season.

I believe you did not understood what I've meant.

1) Each division - either on the same country or not, should have a separate calculation upon the average salaries when defining the income of teams there. Income means - TV, Merchandise and Arena's fullness.
[Of course that not all of this components are only affected by the average salary at that division.]

2) As each team is constantly changing, and the salary at the start of the seasons is by no mean has any relation to the one at the end of the season, this calculation is needed to be a weekly based calculation.
By that, teams that are tanking hoping to get enough income (due to the above items) to make that tanking worth it, may think twice.

This is (one reason) why I suggested it to be calculated on a weekly basis.
The fluctuation here are huge due to the fact that rosters can be changed throughout the season, and due to the fact that tanking scheme is widely used.

I dont know if i like this weekly basis thing at all. The servers work like hell like it is to get training on time as well as match reports. The last thing we need here is another resource demanding process for the server to chew on.
You know that the training is calculated on a specific day. Don't you?

The Weekly-salary-payment, for example, are calculated on another day.

This calculation can easily be done on yet another day, and its result used for the next Weekly-salary-payment.

So your argument is VOID.

What would you like to call this 8th day of the week? :-)

I don't know how you count, but I count 1 (Weekly expenses), 2 (Training), 3.

I don't really know on which base one counts - 1, 2, 8...

But I guess when the arrow is so far from the target, one needs to do a lot to move the target to the arrow.
