I would also recommend having decent bench players if your main players don't have very high Stamina. I like to keep a well balanced, salary efficient roster. I agree with the bit about the arena. I think around 9k is enough to get into D-4, and you can expand in D-4 from there. I also dislike very old players. The skill drops are terrible, and because of the skill drops, they usually have inflated salaries. So when you have old veterans on your team, you're paying too much money for too little talent. I like keeping my important players under 30, though that is sometimes hard to maintain.

Heh, I'm fully aware of the dangers of having oldies. I just bought my team with the intention of promoting this season, all risks considered. Besides, only one person of my starters is in danger of dropping a stat, and it seems to be working out somewhat. And I can't really expand my arena much more right now, since I'm not getting full attendance as is.

I'd also say my arena isn't a huge priority for me right now in terms of promoting. I can always expand later, but I want a true SF before playoffs.

Yes but my 35 yo guard has been a stud this season. I was going to move him and my center during the off season or if i promote maybe use one of them and still get me a true point guard...Maybe keep my 35 yo center as a back up..IDK.

Mandic is injured for 2 weeks. GG, might not have him for all important Naptown game.

Interesting. Additionally, Palmas is back. I'll be expecting a nice, close game between you and Naptown in the playoffs.

More like 3 weeks since he is over 30. It took Issac over 3 weeks from a 2 week injury. And he was slow last night his 1st game back. I got trashed by Maui BUT my entusiasm was the lowest as it ever been since i played crunch against Olmers. EVERYTIME i have ever played crunch i get beat. I thought i could do it this season with the vets i have but no way. Im just playing normal or take it easy from now on. I also just see where Olmers went out and spent 290k for a PG. He has played it smart with his money where i didnt this season. Should be interesting.

Oh my. At first, I was wondering, "What on earth is Naptown talking about. The Ohmers bought an SF, not a PG."
Then, I checked the Ohmer's transfer list again. I didn't realize he had stored enough money to buy TWO good players at almost the same time. He's definitely got a very dangerous team now, with or without Mandic.
Best of luck, Naptown. Hopefully for you, Palmas will carry the team. You may want to TIE the rest of your games before playoffs start...

Yeah, I bought this new guy after I realized that my game against you would be the first possible day Mandic would recover, and that I might not even have him for the finals, assuming I beat you of course. So, this was a last resort, panic button decision. Helps that I just had a home game too, but I was hoping to put it in my arena later.

yeah...Joules has played it smart this season....I mean he just blew it up with his team. I'm not ready to throw in the towel but i have a tuff ass Maui team and i need to concentrate on them 1st....most def will take it easy till the playoffs. AND hope all injuries are overwith....I have had 4 of my big scorers out at one point this season and 2 at one time. I am sure Olmers will be fine. I picked them at the beginning of the season to win it all. But if...IF i can get by Maui I'm going to try and make it incredibly tuff for Olmers.
