Just FYI you should join the USA offsite. A lot of mentorship there and helper tools. There's a lot of managers who don't post in BB forums but post in the USA offsite with great insight on the game and analysis of the game engine.

rag him down on it, what good is for the game.. who care if he like tall players,

on topic, I wouldn't dare play 2-3zone. until they fix the skill for guards, it useless, overly expensive to run. only reason li guards work is because their jacked up on od. I would stick to 3-2 zone or m2m save yourself the head ache

It is a headache, I cant find a reason for so many inside shots in one game against a 2-3. I understand 10-20 shots from the inside but not the whole game. Plus I bank on taller players in case there potential is low and staats are there.

yer 2-3 zone is a funny one.

There have been many discussions about it. One of the points the game developers have made is that you need good SB for 2-3 zone to work. Here is why i think that applies.

2-3 zone opens up the floor for the outside players. But instead of taking more outside shots, (which would be most obvious) - users have developed players with higher driving skill .......therefore the open outside players drive inside instead.

For driving, opposition, the defense uses ID and SB to defend it. This is where i believe SB makes the difference. High SB alters the driving shots and in theory, the game engine should then either result in lower shot % being made, or push the offensive engine to an outside shot preference (and also lower quality shot, lower shot % etc)..

All very theoretical really and my opinion.... - i've had a little bit of success using 2-3 and high SB players, but nothing to really to provide concrete evidence.

the question is who needs it more the guards or the big men, even with that you going to need Id to stop the driving. Not many guards have that on BB. It a good way to ruin the team. Way too expensive to own.

I have one good center for shot blocking, but he is in training untill other centers on my team hit 25 mark. Ive recently just started training one on one with everyone every other traning session. Just started training outside shooting just recently but only with gaurds.

yes way to many Li /lp guard on the game. I think the thing is to catch them before they cap and use trainin is some outside offensive things for guard.

Say for example I would look for sb/id in young player with the correct height so I can train him as guard. This way you can have defensive a outside guard on the cheap. Its hard to find such player but it very possible, I have 4 on my team right now..

Also late round draft players have bad skill(abnormal skills). I keep the one's with id/sb and can be made a guard. Most manager fire them, because they never be a high skilled player or sell. But I trust having tactical players for certain tactics, those player will never be 30-60k a week or sellable. But to me that's the great thing about them. certain tactics don't need all the skills to be great, you can create a cookie cutter players.
